Pleasant Sunday morning around here.

On the topic of the television show, rehashed not funny hit you over the head scripted humor... Alonso's publicist is slacking.

Pretty insulting to the huge Spanish audience that clearly enjoy the humor of this and all the other episodes of this very successful program. Did you just want to have an indirect dig at Fernando or were you really trying to insult the complete audience that enjoyed the show?

geeez cant he have an opinion :banghead: Anyone who says Avatar was a s*** move is an idiot, Billions of Dollars say otherwise so he must be wrong...

Spanky take some of What's Burnings advice aye?

Why wouldn't they have a complex? He upstaged their hero and made him go running back to mommy Briatore waiting with open arms at Renault. :D

The only one who went running to daddy's arms was: you know who. He ran into both arms... papa Ham, and mommy Ron. ;)

But he did. Didn't he?

Youre being a tool!

What does it matter how much of a tool I am being?
the matter at hand: he did run into their arms.

The "Youre" in you're brilliant repartee is missing an apostrophe. And, in my part of the world, "favor" is correct.

Sapnish TV is like this. Most spanish shows have this sort of non-PC in your face- pretend humour. In the end its pretty similar to Top Gear to me except its directed to a broader audience so they cant go too overboard with specific jokes.

i think some people have missed the point completely. That wasnt intened to be great comedy, and it wasnt intended to be great F1 knowledge. It was CASUAL tv for the general population. To be honest, how many non-comedy TV shows are "really" funny??

Other than that... how many times have you seen an F1 star race a tv presenter on a pedal kart??

Not knowing spanish, I still watched. The part where Hamilton was at the last square to win and the other presenter guy started going crazy. It was hillarious, maybe even funnier since I don't know what they were saying. Also the pedal cart race was good too. When Alonso almost tipped over on the corner I was thinking Ferrari fans woulda killed the show host if he hurt himself.

He didn't run anywhere, just stayed put.

Baby Alonso took his first opportunity to go back to papa Briatore when he found that the kitchen at McLaren was too hot to handle. And he's getting his a**e kicked again this year by the hot kitchen, bet he's hating it though I'm loving it.

Who was ahead of who in the championship table? :P for a rookie to be level let alone ahead of his team mate who happens to be a 2 times champ is a bit of an upstage in anyones books!

Alonso 4 wins
Hamilton 4 wins
Alonso 109 Points
Hamilton 109 Points

Hamilton had the added advantage of having the team boss publicly state that he and Hamilton were racing against Alonso.

So?? Ron Dennis can say whatever he wants, it doesn't mean they were sabotaging Alonso's chances!

If they were.......

PROOF please. Just like you kept throwing this around in another thread, we want PROOF. Come on, I'm waiting.

Are you kidding? Similar hate towards Alonso can be seen on this forum alone, If there ever was a television show with this sort of a game i can promise you similar booing would be issued for Alonso.

are you kidding? This forum doesnt have a tv show!
what i should say is the British, or even English speaking media does not act in the same way towards Fernando as the Spanish media does towards Lewis. They have a complex about him!

Why wouldn't they have a complex? He upstaged their hero and made him go running back to mommy Briatore waiting with open arms at Renault. :D

Upstaged you say.
How many races did they each win that year?
How many points did they each end up with that year?

Sorry, Lewis name is on top of Alonsos in the WDC standings. That means, more 2nd places, or more 3rd places or WHATEVER...he upstaged Alonso.

Want proof? Your favourite word, "proof", you could go look up statistics and find the WDC table for year 2007, the fateful year Alonso got owned by Mr Rookie.

It was certainly worth watching just to see Alonso in that environment, taking things not seriously. My comments at the show was directed solely as that, as the show, believe me, I'd welcome that before I sat through most of the myriad of reality TV shows on American television today. I grew up with my parents watching "Sabado Gigante" wildly popular, and painful to sit through.

It's fast food television, like eating at McDonald's no one expects a great meal yet it's one of the most successful restaurant franchises globally.

Most TV sucks but my comment was about the show itself, they were only a few sound effects away from a cheezy morning drive time radio with a "wacky" dj.

Do you realise just how silly your posts are.
You're demanding me to provide proof of "sabotage"
I didn't mention anything about sabotage - you're the one that brought it up :rofl:
#216135
I brought it up due to your heavy hinting. There's no reason for Lewis not to race ALonso as he was in front. It wasn't a matter to bring up unless you're saying there's something more behind it, is there?

Anyway, silly or not its shut you up and got you posting this -> repeatedly.

Maybe you should think twice before talking a bit too much about "proof" to try and win arguments.

So because you've made a monumental blunder, demanding me provide proof for your accusation, now you're desperately trying to cover up how silly you are by claiming your clairvoyant. And your tarot cards, or whatever you're using to read my mind tells you, although I didn't write anything of the kind, what I meant was there was sabotage involved.

If anything, this blunder of yours goes to show how important it is to distinguish between facts and gossip.

I just have to repeat it.... you wanted me to provide proof of your accusation :rofl::rofl: that is just so funny, breaks me up every time I even think about.
