Apologies if this has been discussed-I couldnt find anything when I searched.
I was very suprised when I read that it was Newey's unilateral decision to switch the wings
Horner only found out when s*** erupted from Webber's side of the garage. I'd imagined it was the team acting to appease the Austrian contingent.
Part of the reason newey left williams in 96 was because he felt Williams treated damon unfairly. So why did he make that call? Was it because Vettel had initially been more praising of the new wing? Both drivers found extra time with it and Webber was faster before Q3. So why did he do it? What do you think?

You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.
