Lewis hasn't the best car because Red Bull and Ferrari are better cars.So if he'll win the championship he'll deserve more credit.Just think how bad was McLaren in the start of the season.
Something I forgot.Button is overrated imo.He is perhaps the most overrated champion ever.I find ridiculous the comparisons with Hamilton(like Senna-Prost) and him because Lewis is by far a better driver than Button.
Button last year called himself the Greatest ever.LOL

I think you could have started a thread, by saying:
LEWIS IS THE BEST DRIVER EVER. Please come in here and re-affirm my thoughts.

Wouldnt have needed to waste your time creating a poll....

Are you kidding me??Senna is the best driver ever.I said Lewis has a small chance from the active drivers to challenge Senna/Schumacher/Fangio as "the Greatest ever"..

The car is too big a factor in the equation to answer this question. You can only get to be the greatest ever if you have a good car and you only get a good car if you're noticed and you only get noticed if you have a half-decent car. For all we know, Chandhok (to pick a driver in a dud car at random) could have the potential but he's never going to get a chance - unless, of course, HRT suddenly do a Brawn! :D

Button had his head up a bit in clouds last year but no worries, he is being brought back to good old Earth this year.

I honestly dont' think that any driver dead or alive and in their prime can beat Hamilton in the same car over a season. Lets be realistic If Senna was here now he would have a VERY rough time. Remember, Senna was beatable by his team mate over a season, while from what i remember Hamilton has never been beaten by his team mate, why even Schumacher was beaten over a season by his team mate before.

Let's be realistic, you just posted a load of bollocks based on no real logic at all there. Ugh. The only team mate that beat Senna was ALAIN PROST. Seriously, do you not understand the importance of that?

That does not matter to me anymore because I have already accounted for that in my thoughts. Alain Prost could have Been Fernando Alonso or Michael Schumacher (any other elite driver), that is not an excuse. Athletes are athletes. I sure don't think Carl Lewis or even a Ben Johnson could stand a chance against an Asafa Powell or Usain Bolt for example, but who knows anyway.

It seems to me you are implying that If Senna comes back to life in his prime one can be in confidence that he will out-qualify an Alonso or a Hamilton every single time or to be less extreme beat them over a season.

The guy was beatable by another man, that's all that stands out to me when I dream up a fantasy driver scenario. A quote from the movie Predator: "If it bleeds we can kill it." Hamilton on the other hand puts that as Question mark. Can he bleed? Is he unbeatable? so far that is what is seems and he is not even in his prime.

Senna sure as hell could out qualify Alonso or Hamilton over the course of a season... who is to say that isn't a very real possibility? :-|

That logic is also flawed in my eyes because you could name several drivers that have always beaten their team mate, but you wouldn't put them up there. Whatever.

I'm fan of Senna and Hamilton but Senna always my hero. But let me say this.We speak about different eras, different cars, different drivers..Of caurse talent is always talent but it's difficult for anyone to prove that Hamilton>>Senna/Prost/Clark/Lauda with a 2010 car or Senna/Prost>>>>>Fangio with a 1960 car..
