Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone is weighing up a bid by officials from Mallorca to try and grab Spain's second race from Valencia in the future.

story is here but this seems very nice. A track can't be worse than Valencia and what's most important - this venue won't be designed by Hermann Tilke, then we can see if other people can make interesting tracks. Unfortunantely right now it's a pipe-dream and it's planned to be in 3 years or so

Just ditch the European GP; it's just an excuse for another European country to get a second GP... I'd rather have a second race is South America.

Does anyone not know which circuit that is?

I mean when I said Iberian Peninsula I meant Portugal too.

And of course that is the Algarve Circuit, which might I add is just wonderful.

Only if it's at a classic track... Hermanos Rodriguez would be amazing, but it'll only ever happen in my dreams.

Ultimately though, it's a travesty that there's no French GP on the calendar any more. :banghead:
