I'm gonna risk my neck and say either Schumacher or Roseberg to win.

On the live chat I did say that the Mercedes did look quite good in the twisty bits. But even so I think you've made a bold prediction. I'd have to go with the people who say that Red Bull are more likely to be winning than any other team, but Monaco does sometime produce results that buck trends.

McLaren's form around Monaco for the last 5 years has been brilliant. 2009 they were brillant around Monaco considering how good bad that car was during normal circumstances, it's just the drivers how it fluffed it.

Yeah, because qualifying 7th and 16th, and with finishes of 12th and a DNF is "brilliant". Have a look at the fastest laps too. There's no way McLaren's performance last year can be described as "brilliant".

Lewis only qualified 16th because he put it in the wall he would of probably been in the top 5 he was doing very well, where as compared to the previous race at Barcelona he qualified 14th and HK 18th so McLaren were much better relative to their other results.

i cant imagine the high speed cars having much advantage here, esp the f-duct cars. or I may be wrong.

I think the ferraris can do it this time. Alonso has been great in the ferrari.

You're right Ferrarifans probably not looking at the big picture....

I'm looking at the cold, hard, facts. Usually a reasonable policy.

cold hard facts were the McLaren at the time was struggling to get into Q2 let alone Q3 and Lewis was fast in P1-3 and if he didnt make a driving error would have qualified pretty well. Now throwing in that throughout history they have the most wins at the Principality and this years car is no dog like last years, there every bit a reason to suggest they will be mega again this year. Though i do not think they will be able to beat Redbull.

So we keep getting told by Ferrari fans, McLaren were somehow "mega" at Monaco last year, despite qualifying 7th and 16th, and having a lone 12th as a finish. If it were just a matter of LH ballsing up the qualifying then he still could have been faster in the race.
