True, you never know. Forcing McLaren to effectively start again and approach the car from a different angle (if it did have any Ferrari technology on it), they might just create a monster.

They couldn't find any Ferrari parts this season, so I can't see any problems for the 2008 car.

Why should the team be penalized for something that was unbeknowngst to them? Stepney was the rat not the overall team. The team did not PLANT the information and then run to the FIA yelling foul.

Why should the team (Mclaren) be penalized for something that was unbeknowngst to them? Coughlan was the rat not the overall team. The team got rid of him as soon as they knew.

It's been known since Turkey that Alonso wasn't sharing setup information.
