All I can say is "What the sweet *bad word* was Webber doing...?" There was no need for him to be where he was and smash into Hamilton.

Just cause he can't drive well enough to be at the top in his home race don't mean he has to take out his anger on better drivers.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hamilton smacks him one in the face next time theres no cameras about. (I know I would)

:yawn::bs::yawn:

BS nothing, that was NOT an accident and I bet you any money the telemetry for Webbers car will show that. Hope he gets punished for it.

He said he lost aero b/c he was so close and then went straight. So it's a bit debatable, but I still think he's mostly responsible for the crash and so did the stewards with their measured response (reprimand).

He wasn't close enough to make a pass (or even an attempt at a pass) and yet "he lost Aero" good one Webber.

I was just so annoyed after sitting watching Hamilton drive his Heart out and due to many factors never got to 2nd place behind Button. But whats done is done and I have now vented my frustration. Button and Hamilton will take their team to number one this season, no doubt.

Ofcourse he was responsible for it but its just one of those "sh1t happens" things a racing incident no more no less

As for Foopah and his "He (Webber) did it on purpose thing" Webber wanted points today, as much points as he could get his hands on infact he wanted all of the points he wanted the win and went hell for leather to get it, he wasnt about to risk ramming into Hamilton on purpose and ending up with nothing

Yeah he wanted the win but what has history taught us of this sport? Let's see... Schumacher is probs best to explain this, he used to race with the "If I ain't winning them am gonna take you outta the points position if I can" mentality. And throughout the race you could see from Webbers driving style that he was getting more and more frustrated... Darting from 1 side of the track to the other then back again behind racers, your allowed 1 move across the track not as many as you want, and the team engineers pointed this out to him on the radio. Webber was in one of the best cars on the track but as so many things go you need all components to come together to get a win... Great car, driver on form, team on form. And for Webber he had the car and the team but sadly the pressure of trying to win at home was just too great and he crumpled under it. Watch the race again, he starts good then falls off the pace and starts making stupid little mistakes.

And if he did it on purpose then hitting Hamilton was a good idea as it lowered his points for the championship.
If he didn't do it on purpose then i'll eat my hats I have collected from F1 and BSB races I have been to.

Due to Alonso being so successful i think they should of let him by.

If it had been you in Massa's shoes and you were on for a podium would you have pulled over and let him by? I know I wouldent have done it

It's a team, i would of though statistically that he needs the podium, but if Massa believes he can be a challenger for the WDC then go for it Massa. But the way he came back @ Alonso did surprise me allot!

So i think they might have to battle for the number 1 spot to be fair!

Only if the teams tell them to do it, if Massa does it himself he'll be fine.

yea but why would he willingly give up a podium place? he's trying to score points too remember

Aye, by the end it looks the right decision at the time I think Massa had just got taken by Lewis and Webber? Alonso was coming up behind him a lot faster and it seemed that Massa should've let Alonso go.

Although I don't think Massa would've kept Lewis behind him like Alonso did

 Massa definitely slowed Alonso down (he got a great start though); also Lewis AND Webber would have banged Massa. His tires were much worse and he proved much easier to pass than Kubica and Fernando...

BUT they are now #1 and #2 on the WDC standings. I guess for the time being Massa is as much a contender as Fernando. Fernando is faster, no doubt. But Massa is rarely good in Oz, so maybe Massa will be better when 'his tracks' come by...... had Alonso not been spinned/poor start on L1 Massa would have not even been close....

I say LET 'EM RACE

I think Massa is great this year so he may be 1st,2nd or 3rd this year.I think same about Alonso, too. In spite of my belief that they were the best racers ever(last year),i dont anymore think that Vettel and Hamilton can be really successful this year.Vettel seems to have some problems with Red Bull because he is having a lot of techniqual problems.
