Being almost 45 years of age and an avid fan of F1 most of my life, I must admit that I am now bewildered as to events leading up to and inc this last race of the season. To much has happened off the track this season especially with Alonso's actions towards his team and Teamate.
I really am at a loss to try to describe just how I feel watching this farce of a race, and farce of a season. China was unbelievable, when TV commentators with a stopwatch can call that a change of tyre was needed 4 laps before Hamiltons blowout, not to mention the multi-million pound data information collection systems within the McClaren that their information did not warrent a call to pits for a tyre change even when everybody else without their technology could plainly see his tyres, something smelt funny then and stinks to high heaven even now after watching the last race.
I could go on typing paragraph after paragraph on situations, comments, and certain mechanical problems to certain drivers, this would be a waste of time as the supporters amongst you will already know most of what has taken place this season.
Alonso's ego couldnt take a rookie beating him, Ferrari lets make everything seem like a drama, and absolutely unbelievable goings on within team Mclaren (maybe lewis should have had a spy sleep with his car last night like Alonso, LoL), he might well have been Champion now !.
Well thats me out of here 1 post and a passionate one. I supported BSB (British Superbikes) this year, cost me £41 for a full race weekend inc camping and tickets. It provided me with true racing, from hero's who race to try and cover the costs of their tyres. less than 1 second seperates 4 different makes of bikes, and they indeed risk their lives doing something they love.......its passion !, something that lacks in most sports ruined by money (and respect to Ollie Bridewell, who sadly passed away this season ay Mallory Park in BSB).
F1 is over financed and an insult to Motorsport, how much does a car cost ?, jeeez seriously. How many times have you heard " Oh the car behind will have to back off, because he is in the dirty air of the car in front ", its insane cars that become undrivable while racing behind someone, oh LoL, I got to to keep my sanity a car incapable of racing the car in front now thats racing ?.
Bernie Eccleston..................wtf, he should be in an old folks home lol, F1 please see the farce you are fast becoming, I thought things couldnt get much worse after the US grandprix with the tyre fiasco, but.................. I was wrong.
F1 wake up, to much money, to much so called technology, let the driver drive the car, not the pits, bring back racing, cars that race each other through pure engineering not IT robots recieving their limits and capabilities from someone sat in the garage. Make the cars more aerodynamic for racing each other, thats when racing may return to F1 and I wait for the day..........................
