Hamilton.....what a tool

He drove great today. The only criticism I'd have is his attitude on the team radio, he'd have been better keeping his mouth shut.

lol.. its clear he's used to being considered first all the time. What happened here today will unnerve him for many races to come. why did you pit me and not jenson ?? omg. He needs a lot a growing..

I think his frustration was understandable but the way he displayed it wasn't wise. He could have taken 2nd, almost certainly not 1st. He's a bit of a hot head at times which is probably why he splits opinion so much.

Webber actually hit Hamilton twice. Remember when they were both trying to overtake Massa, only for both of them to go off and Massa to go straight back past.

Curious as to what happened Sutil. He just disappeared rather suddenly. Yet again, Sutil is provided with a good car and fails to score points. With Luzzi scoring points for Force India twice in a row, and Di Reista driving on fridays, Sutil better start watching his back.

Hard to know what to say about today, except that it was an amazing race. Great desicive descision from Button. Vettel should have won, but unluckly again. Lewis was driving well, but got hit twice, and couldn't get past Alonso to make his second stop work. Massa managed 3rd place despite struggling with the car this weekend. Keeping his nose clean clearly worked today, but he needs to defend more aggresively. He gives up the inside line to easily. Schumacher continues to have the most astonishing yet quite comeback ever.

Kubica. Some days he's lackluster and unimpressive. Some days he pulls magic rabbits out of hats. Kubica clearly the master of Melbourne though. Almost took pole in 2008, almost came 2nd in 2009, and this year finally got that podium he deserved. Despite never really having a great car around Melbourne.

Hispania finished a race. That was mighty impressive considering that they've had hardly any running, and that the car never seems to last more than 10 laps. Surely they feel like they won that race.

As the championship stands. Ferrari clearly have an inter-team battle on their hands. Button really estabilished himself today. Vettel is behind on points, but you'd be crazy to bet against him winning the next 3 or 4 races. Malaysia and China again should suit the Red Bull.

Neither Mercedes men will win the championship this year. They'll struggle to win a race if I'm honest, because Schuy isn't as good as he perhaps once was. I question Rosberg who still manages to be in a good posistion, yet loses it, and the car isn't quick enough. Webber won't either, because he keeps making mistakes and Vettel is simply faster.

So really the championship battle I personally think will be Button, Lewis, Alonso, Massa and Vettel. However, whilst the inter-team battles are going on, I think Vettel still looks favourite to win this year.

Well Amanda. What is understanable is that Jenson is the older and wiser one in the equation and that justifies his call to change tires when he did. Lewis can drive the s*** out of a car and it appears that where it ends for him. Jenson is simply applying thinking ability coupled with experience

I wasn't criticising Jenson, neither was Lewis. He lost three places with that decision to change tyres which is why he was frustrated. Jenson had a great race, no one is saying otherwise.

I'm surprised Lewis didn't recite Barrichello's "the team made me lose the race, blah blah blah blah blah blahing" speech from last year's German GP. :hehe:

The only question left unanswered here is whether you think that lewis would have made it to the end of the race with his way of driving. He's team clearly didnt think so..

The team thought that Ferrari would pit too so they tried to do it early and get the advantage. In the end they didn't, Lewis probably didn't need to either. Martin Whitmarsh said that at the time it was the right call but in hindsight it was probably a bad decision.

I'm stoked JB won but I'm annoyed McLaren pitted Lewis but regardless best race I've been too!

I dont think he would have made it to the end of the race since he seems not to have a clue about looking after his tires. He was crying that they were graining by the time he caught up with Alonso so I think his team made the right call. Buttonit seems can take initiative and planned his own race as the conditions changed. Great decision and race from him. Jensonb will be glad

Ferrari on the other hand will nodoubt turns the tables next week.

Jenson didn't make the call to come in for slicks though he said so in the post race interviews. For gods sake get off Lewis' back he drove amazing today some awesome passes he knows how to drive you have no place to critisize him you wouldn't beable to do one lap!
Lewis burned out his second set of Tyres trying to pass the Ferraris, if he stayed out behind kubica and passed him he could have managed them like JB did.

You sure about that? I heard him say the opposite.

MW said he made the call as far as I heard, if anything the rest of the team thought he was a bit nuts. Good call in the end though.
