Curious as to what happened Sutil. He just disappeared rather suddenly. Yet again, Sutil is provided with a good car and fails to score points. With Luzzi scoring points for Force India twice in a row, and Di Reista driving on fridays, Sutil better start watching his back.
Hard to know what to say about today, except that it was an amazing race. Great desicive descision from Button. Vettel should have won, but unluckly again. Lewis was driving well, but got hit twice, and couldn't get past Alonso to make his second stop work. Massa managed 3rd place despite struggling with the car this weekend. Keeping his nose clean clearly worked today, but he needs to defend more aggresively. He gives up the inside line to easily. Schumacher continues to have the most astonishing yet quite comeback ever.
Kubica. Some days he's lackluster and unimpressive. Some days he pulls magic rabbits out of hats. Kubica clearly the master of Melbourne though. Almost took pole in 2008, almost came 2nd in 2009, and this year finally got that podium he deserved. Despite never really having a great car around Melbourne.
Hispania finished a race. That was mighty impressive considering that they've had hardly any running, and that the car never seems to last more than 10 laps. Surely they feel like they won that race.
As the championship stands. Ferrari clearly have an inter-team battle on their hands. Button really estabilished himself today. Vettel is behind on points, but you'd be crazy to bet against him winning the next 3 or 4 races. Malaysia and China again should suit the Red Bull.
Neither Mercedes men will win the championship this year. They'll struggle to win a race if I'm honest, because Schuy isn't as good as he perhaps once was. I question Rosberg who still manages to be in a good posistion, yet loses it, and the car isn't quick enough. Webber won't either, because he keeps making mistakes and Vettel is simply faster.
So really the championship battle I personally think will be Button, Lewis, Alonso, Massa and Vettel. However, whilst the inter-team battles are going on, I think Vettel still looks favourite to win this year.
