Hamsters? Oh, that is good. Someone coined that one during the off season? I guess I'll have to stop in during the down times just to keep tabs on some of the humor.

As for this one:

it was for those who continue to have a serious problem with Hamilton and yet have no current reason to.

Why does one have to have a current reason to not like a certain driver? Is it really a requirement that all drivers must be liked unless they have done something 'this season' to earn a distrust/dislike? Michael Schumacher, clearly and admittedly a hero to the driver in discussion here, was without question more than willing to pull any sort of cheap move or faked quali-parking to win. Certainly, he was also one of the most talented drivers to take the wheel, but his antics cast a shadow on that talent in my mind so I never really liked him. Still not a fan actually, though I 'have no current reason to'. Hamilton may, one day, prove to be a talent somewhat close to that same level but he surely hasn't accomplished very much as yet..which doesn't bode well for the antics and mistakes he has shown not to mention all the hot air.

When Hammy first showed up on scene...I liked him. Then he opened his mouth, and said incredibly insulting and stupid things about the 'monkeys at the back', forced them off the track whenever it suited him and proceeded to publicly compare himself to the best of all time while making enough mistakes to single handedly cost his team a world championship. Throughout that process, I came to like him less and less...and until he actually accomplishes some of what he claims he is capable of...his strut isn't backing up his mouth so I'll continue to not love him. Actually, he reminds me more and more of Jacques Villenueve. One flash in the pan followed by a whole ton of never ending gum flapping. Don't get me wrong, he is talented...but then so was JV...provided he was handed the best car on the grid. Thus far Hamilton has had a championship capable car and team twice...with which he lost one and won one...so his team has broken even. Nothing to brag about as yet...which would not be a problem in a young driver if it were not for all the....bragging.

You haven't even got the ball to tell the truth, you don't like Lewis and you never have, don't give us that crap about "i use to like him". He said incredibly insulting things, lol, exaggerate much, you actually hiding nothing with your over the top ranting about all the bad thing Lewis has done. I know ,in the land of the so call free, people like lewis should be shooting hoops,is that it? come on just admit it.

Grows some balls and tell the truth instead of finding pathetic excuses on why you don't like Lewis. :yikes:

Shooting hoops? I can't be certain what your misspelled, illiterate teenage rambling is attempting to say but it sounds a lot like you are trying to call me a racist but you are too much of a coward to come out and say it. Is that what you are attempting to say there little guy? Come on, stop beating around the bush....say what you mean, like a man.

I'm a racist because I don't like the way Hamilton talks about other drivers or treats them on the track? Was I a racist when I thought the same of Schumacher? I tell you what there little one, instead of throwing around insults because you don't like what I said...why don't you attempt to refute some of my facts. Did he not insult other drivers in his interviews? Did he not beach his car, crash in pitlane etc etc and cause his team to lose one championship and nearly a second one? Are there not references of him comparing himself to the likes of SENNA of all people? Based on what accomplishments does he make that comparison? If I have some facts wrong, feel free to correct me.

Calling someone a racist is a cowardly cheap attack when hiding behind a keyboard and not available to say it to my face. It's one thing to disagree on a web board, but if personal attacks are more your thing...man up and do so in public instead of hiding behind a screen name.

TBH Bill .. inaluke and a few others ( they know who they are ) all have the same angle of approach to this issue but too much on the coward side to admit it. Thats what they actually mean. you can read it in all their posts. Maybe they living out a dream through him or something to that effect or maybe they feel he reached a milestone for the community, I dont know. what I do know is that its really disgraceful that they feel that way. I guess (maybe) we cant blame them. but it is wrong that in this free universe of ours we should be subjected to their obnoxious gloating. Before anybody asks what my basic point is I wish to refer to the fact that Button is british as well and nobody ( except jensonb) is running around singing "how great thou art" for him.

Honestly some of you take this F1 game WAY to seriously when it has NO impact upon your daily or personal life  .

True enough Tex, but when fans start calling people who don't agree with them racists and it goes unchecked by the mods...things are going to get out of hand pretty quickly. Disagreeing is one thing, actually cheering for opposing teams is the entire reason for the sport, but the Hamsters are entirely out of control. Even the Schumacher fans were never this rabid.

You are all unbelievable!! Tex I agree with you for once. This is F1. WTF has it got to do with colour or nationality?? I chosse my drivers because they are the best and take exception to anyone suggesting my motives are otherwise. Call me a hamster, thats fine but dont assume my allegiences are to do with anythng other than choosing the best driver. Any further posts refering to racism will be edited.

hamsters are out of control? from where im standing the anti hamsters are just as bad. Infact they are the ones who instigate most s*** on here!

this whole issue is bloody pathetic sick and tired of it to be honest, if you dont like someone who gives a s***. no need to go on and on about it over and over again!

Oddly enough RC. when I made that post in my mind I did not include you, bud and ewan in my reference of ( they know who they are). The only reason i went ahead and tried to call a spade "a spade" was because of the deafening silence of all the posts denouncing inaluke's post. He does it most of the time and it appears the hamsters justifies his posts and reference to race by keeping quiet. I wholeheartedly agree with you that it doesnt belong on the forum, in fact, there's no place for it in our society but when you leave people unchecked that use it to justify why others dont sit around your campfire we will have a problem. I have many favorate artists, singers, drivers, actors etc. of whatever persuation and that is my right, however I am not fanatical to the point that i want to know when they took their first step of if they had a pink belt in ballet or whatever. It is also my right to speak out against discrimination of any kind. Which I do here as well but clearly not appreciated.

Fair enough, but:-
A. You dont know what measures are taken by mods , its not privvy to the open forum
B. I just said any further reference to racism will be edited.
