You can't hurry love, no you just have to wait. She said love don't come easy...

You're quoting Diana Ross lyrics in reference to Lewis Hamilton????

The Hamsters(Hamilton fans) will call you racist.

Hold on Bud maybe he wasn't trying to start something.
I'm pretty sure he wasn't trying to be racist & may have had another point...
I don't know what point Diana Ross lyrics make.

there was nothing racist and im sure no one would have even thought anything as such until you brought it up. "Love dont come easy" seems to be sent towards those who do not love Hamilton from Ewan . Nothing more and nothing less.

I am saying YOU are trying to start something by bringing up the hamsters will cry racism.

What? How did race get dragged into this conversation?

My random quote was actually as bud said, it was for those who continue to have a serious problem with Hamilton and yet have no current reason to.

Besides, You can't hurry love was also re-recorded by Phil Collins.

Thank you to bud and texasmr2 for seeing my post for what it was worth.

I'll need to stop the ironic posts from now on.

Hamsters? Oh, that is good. Someone coined that one during the off season? I guess I'll have to stop in during the down times just to keep tabs on some of the humor.

As for this one:

it was for those who continue to have a serious problem with Hamilton and yet have no current reason to.

Why does one have to have a current reason to not like a certain driver? Is it really a requirement that all drivers must be liked unless they have done something 'this season' to earn a distrust/dislike? Michael Schumacher, clearly and admittedly a hero to the driver in discussion here, was without question more than willing to pull any sort of cheap move or faked quali-parking to win. Certainly, he was also one of the most talented drivers to take the wheel, but his antics cast a shadow on that talent in my mind so I never really liked him. Still not a fan actually, though I 'have no current reason to'. Hamilton may, one day, prove to be a talent somewhat close to that same level but he surely hasn't accomplished very much as yet..which doesn't bode well for the antics and mistakes he has shown not to mention all the hot air.

When Hammy first showed up on scene...I liked him. Then he opened his mouth, and said incredibly insulting and stupid things about the 'monkeys at the back', forced them off the track whenever it suited him and proceeded to publicly compare himself to the best of all time while making enough mistakes to single handedly cost his team a world championship. Throughout that process, I came to like him less and less...and until he actually accomplishes some of what he claims he is capable of...his strut isn't backing up his mouth so I'll continue to not love him. Actually, he reminds me more and more of Jacques Villenueve. One flash in the pan followed by a whole ton of never ending gum flapping. Don't get me wrong, he is talented...but then so was JV...provided he was handed the best car on the grid. Thus far Hamilton has had a championship capable car and team twice...with which he lost one and won one...so his team has broken even. Nothing to brag about as yet...which would not be a problem in a young driver if it were not for all the....bragging.

well Bill yeah he has made errors in his first season at the age of 23. I am sure if you were in his position at the same age you wouldnt have been perfect either.
Hamilton is more than a JV, his 3rd season proved he matured and won a few races and got a lot of podiums in the second half. Thats something JV didnt do, nor did his team want him around. while McLaren and Hamilton have a long and bright future ahead.
Just you wait and see he is 25 now and as every season goes by he is maturing and the antics that you keep hanging onto and brining up will become more and more distant in the memory of most fans.

think its time to get a new villain perhaps.

You're entitled to your opinins but your facts are incorrect. Last year's car was not race winning yet he dragged it up the grid on numerous ocassions. When he talked about the 'monkeys at the back' his words were ill chosen but he would have included himself as one of those last year, it was nothing against the drivers it was the package-the slow cars-of which last year he was one. The championship where "he made enough mistakes to single handedly cost his team a championship" was also a year where as a rookie he beat a double world champion.

I agree with Tex here FJuan. Ewan certainly did not intend as per your interpretation.
