Know what I might do? Buy a yellow Cinquicento and paint the passenger door red. eCookie to whoever knows what I'm referencing.

You going to go to a ammusment park and insult some people with special needs so they can do the appropriate thing to that car and burn it.

I would like to get a Lotus Exige; although I wonder if I would fit in it; I keep on whacking my head on the door frame on getting in and out of my Chevy Cavalier and my knees hit the steering wheel when moving from the accelerator to the brake, I even managed to turn off the ignition while driving the other day... :irked:

You get used to it. My partner is 6ft and it took him a while as there is a knack to it. Personally, I also think the S2s are easier to get in/out of than the S1s because of the door sills. Also, you can take the roof off Exiges if you really want to.

Have you driven one yet? I think you'd probably be surprised the amount of legroom in the car once you've levered yourself in :D

I miss my Exige like mad - I was actually down at my local Lotus dealer a couple of weeks ago drooling over their Exiges :(

The machine of a dream, Such a clean machine. With the pistons a pumpin, And the hub caps all gleam...

I wish I had the money to get a new car :(

Unfortunately I haven't driven an Exige, I drove an Elise 190 many years ago, which was difficult with my long legs, knees banging the steering wheel every time I switch from the brake to the accelerator and vice versa. Maybe I could move the seat mounts back a little?

Is the 190 an S1? (The Elise has so many variants, I can't keep up :( ). Try an S2 - and try several. Personally, I don't like the S1s so much although I know they are seen as more hardcore than the S2. When I first sat in an S2, I couldn't reach the pedals, but I was fine with the later ones I tried - so it might be worth trying a few different cars out? I know you can definitely move the seat mounts forwards to accommodate short-arses like me, I'm not sure there's the room to move them back.
