If you're looking to get another car at some time in the future, what would you like to go for next?

My current Corsa has 1 year to go on its payments, but I plan to complete the payments early next year so I can sell it and use the money as a part deposit for my next car. The car I would most like to get is one of these classic Ford Sierra Cosworths.

Either that or a new-ish Ford Mondeo, but I would most like to get the Sierra Cossy because I have a bit of a thing for cars from the 80's and it has character unlike a lot of the boring Audi's and BMW's you see out on the road during the week. :)

I will not be getting a new car for about 4/5 years, but it will be an Alfa Romeo come hell or high water. :D 159 please...

The engine sounds of Alfas are just.... :cloud9: and German cars in the same class (ie Mercs, BMWs and Audis) are BOOOORRRRRRIIIIIINNNGGGG!!

Not as likely as it is made out to be, although if that happened i'd be safe in the knowledge that my preceeding journey was infinitely more enjoyable than it would be in most cars. :D

Zonda for me!
Or, more realistically, probably a Morgan of some description, although have been put off that the classically styled Morgans had to be serviced every 3,000 miles

I absolutely adore both the cars I have at the moment so not planning to get a new car for a while. I think I'd like a Morgan Aero 8 as my next car, which I think I can realistically afford in a few years time if I'm very lucky!

How much do they go for these days? :scratchchin: Sierra cossies > Escorts imo!

Despite what i said before, my dad's 155 had it's life ended in the most epic way when one of the cylinders went... it was over 10 years old and one of the 'old' Alfa's mind. Flamboyant in life and death! :hehe:

The ones I've been looking on Autotrader are mostly around £4,000 - £10,000. Ideally I'd like to get one that's done less than 100K miles and doesn't guzzle the petrol so badly as the Sierra Cosworth's are pretty powerful engines.

I really want another MR2 but I leaning towards an early Miata, wind in what hair I will have left haha. If this happen's I will either build the stock engine for a big turbo or swap in a built 3SGTE. Who knows I might just add a SC to my 4Runner! I was cruising the main strip one day in my SC300 which was very fast but there was Toyota p/u, PreRunner I believe, that had a SC and I could not keep up with him but he was driving very foolishly.

I could be persuaded to bin those choices for a TR6 though!!! :D

I haven't got a car yet but i have about £1500 to spend when I get one so I was thinking about one of these...

Preferably in a hideous colour. I think they have a bit of the ghetto funk about them. Like I've stolen an ex embassy staff car and am now part of some sleazy small time organised crime racket...
