It is very simple to avoid speeding tickets either don't speed or use your cruise control set at the maximum allowable speed limit. Here is something we learned in our Trafiic course which everyone failed the first time.
Question:
The fastest a motorist may drive on a highway in Texas is?
Answer:
Whatever speed is reasonable and prudent for the current road conditions.
Now any reasonable person would be led to believe it would be the maximum allowable speed limit but no, yet if you really think about it it makes alot of sense. When we have inclimate weather here I switch into 4WD and drop my speed by 5-10mph but more depending on the conditions.
Concerning not using your turn signal
'because everybody does it' is not a viable excuse, you still broke the law, why do you think they put that little stalk on the steering column and those extra lights on the front and back of motor vehicles? I have always recieved ribbing from friends who would say 'Geez tex we are in the middle of nowhere or we are the only vehicle within miles so why are you signaling to change lanes?'. My reply was/is 'because it is the law'.
So the 'fooking cucksockers' remark is a sad way to look at it but frankly does not surprise me. Hopefully you will understand were I come from with the LEO opinion

.
Stay safe honey
