I think we need some more festive cheer around this place
So, I was bored tonight so I thought I'd make some chocolates for Christmas. I will admit that I now feel royally sick having 'tested' a lot of the melted chocolate. My kitchen is also now covered in chocolate (as you can see - I'm not the neatest cook
)
1. Melt chocolate in a pan ( I cheated slightly and didn't make my own chocolate this time - bought in some chocolate chunks instead).
2. Spoon small quantity into ice-cube mould. Spread chocolate so it coats the bottom of the moulds properly. Stick in the freezer for 15 minutes.
3. Add marzipan to each mould.
4. Top up each mould with more chocolate. Freeze for half an hour.
5. Pop each chocolate out and turn over. Sprinkle with cocoa powder or icing sugar. (They look a lot better in real life
)
I'm now *finally* feeling a bit Christmassy. Anyone else want to share some festive cheer...?!
