As a Mclaren Fan I still don't think Lewis should of been named #1

Wash your mouth out!! Hes numero uno!!

Daniel Ricciardo is on that list!

And I think that quite clearly Valentino Rossi is the best in the World. But it looks like motorbikes don't count.

This list is bull!

I'm happy for Vettel to be up there. but tbh Ricciardo shouldn't be on that list. I also believe Raikkonen and Alonso are better than Hamilton and Button, thus putting my beloved Vettel down to 6th at least. Add in Rossi, Stoner and Reed, and then where does he place? :(

However, shouldn't the race of champions decide who's the best?

My list, featuring only F1 and Moto GP.

1. Valentino Rossi
2. Kimi Raikkonen
3. Fernando Alonso
4. Lewis Hamilton
5. Jenson Button
6. Michael Schumacher
7. Sebastien Vettel
8. Casey Stoner

Obviously this is an un-educated opinion as I am too senseless to follow other series.:hehe:

Sure Rossi would be up there but this was autosport, it doesnt include motoracing .

Kimi and Alonso were not as good as Lewis last year (this list is only 2009)

Are you be seriouss about ROC, have you ever been to see it live? Its good fun but its a farce, and the one i saw was rigged. No way can you judge the best driver from that. They race round a football field!!

I still think kimi out did lewis, he had a crap car all year and diddn't make the same mistakes at lewis whilst still competing ferociously and putting in performances where the car shouldn't have been.

What exactly did lewis do to make him even the best f1 driver in 09? His car became very good, it was obvious, heki managed good quali performances too.

Montoya has had some brilliant races so I cannot understand why he is not winning  .

He wasn't as good as lewis. but he has shown at times that he can get on the front row, proving the car belonged there.

at times? so theres more than one example youre going to show?

What exactly is your point bud?

Mine is towards the end of the season lewis did have a race winning car and credit to him for winning in it, but some of his mistakes earlier in the season should drop him down.

nah the reasons he made those mistakes is because he was pushing like mad.

rather than just giving up.

Aye, and other drivers when behind brought home the points without making those mistakes - alonso had to push for the entire season, jenson had to work his way up the field and kimi was kersing to keep his places.
