Saw 2012 over the weekend.
It was entertaining but unbelievable how many time this group of people escaped the jaws of death in the same way pretty much... running from the earth trying to swallow them up, burn them alive or douse them in 1500 meters high tital waves.
2:45 minutes. It was long. I pee'd for a good minute straight after it was over..
Star Wars> Star Trek
Star Trek was amazing! Action-packed from the very beginning
2012The only film I liked from this director was Independence Day and that was back in '97 or something ? He likes to do his sort-of world is going end plots

When it comes to Star Trek I'm completely biased, I'm a bit of a Trekkie.

That's a bit of an understatement there.
I didn't like Day After Tomorrow (I bet Al Gore loves it though), and I don't want to see 2012 either, I don't like these "oh the world is about to end" films, some directors have some sick ideas. And then you get all of the nuts twittering on about how it "really is" going to happen.

Ditto. I loved Independence Day, it was ridiculous but in a very fun way. I think that disaster movies that are this far fetched need a lot of humour to make them work.
