Saw 2012 over the weekend.

It was entertaining but unbelievable how many time this group of people escaped the jaws of death in the same way pretty much... running from the earth trying to swallow them up, burn them alive or douse them in 1500 meters high tital waves.

2:45 minutes. It was long. I pee'd for a good minute straight after it was over..

It was a long movie although it didn't seem that long, the action kept me interested, the plot line was interesting, surprised to see the arks were actually sea vessels I would have bet it was going to be a space ship rescue plan before the movie. It was fantastically unbelievable at times but I really liked the movie and will add it to my DVD list!

Also bought Star Trek as well; JJ Abrams did a fantastic job on Star Trek!

I started being a JJ Abrams fan when he did Alias with Jennifer Garner. I really liked the Garabaldi sub-plot, That showed some real imagination. Fringe is another one with its parallel universe. Lost, he went to far..

And yes I got my copy of Star Trek when it was released :-)

Star Trek was amazing! Action-packed from the very beginning :)

2012  The only film I liked from this director was Independence Day and that was back in '97 or something ? He likes to do his sort-of world is going end plots

Ditto. I loved Independence Day, it was ridiculous but in a very fun way. I think that disaster movies that are this far fetched need a lot of humour to make them work.

When it comes to Star Trek I'm completely biased, I'm a bit of a Trekkie. Image

That's a bit of an understatement there. :P

I didn't like Day After Tomorrow (I bet Al Gore loves it though ), and I don't want to see 2012 either, I don't like these "oh the world is about to end" films, some directors have some sick ideas. And then you get all of the nuts twittering on about how it "really is" going to happen.

I have just started to watch Enterprise as I could not be bothered with it when it came out... Just started season 3 and I think it has gone off the boil.

I watched Jennifers Body the other day and that was terrible, and so is the Orphan when it comes to it.
