I also have to say that it is really funny that people are writing here that it was an exciting season, or coming up with HUGE LIES like Honda spent 400 million on the devolopment of the current car and I can go on and on, my main claim is not that it was or wasn't an exciting season or not (it is funny some don't understand simple stuff when I am the person here that is not from an english speaking country!), my main claim is, and I stand behind it is that the SEASON WAS FIXED!
Brawn-Ecclstone won by cheating!! (I have written in my previous posting more than enough logical reasons to explain my case).

A last comment on this matter, and the folks that reply now don't be offended if I won't respond to what you'll are going to say, I have noticed that some folks on this forum are not here to discuss other people's opinions.

I don't think you actually know what logic is...If you did, you would be aware that concluding that Bernie Ecclestone, who had no motive for doing so, would find it rather difficult to rig a 17-race season involving 20 cars. I mean, what exactly are you suggesting he did? I get the impression from your comments regarding the Honda development that you think the BGP-001 is not simply a modification of the RA109 which was in development at tremendous cost last year, but if you are saying no such car was in development (In which case, what were all those designers doing with themselves when they claimed to be working in three separate wind tunnels?), where pray tell did it come from? What, you think Bernie is some kind of magician who can snap his fingers and create a decent car? Why would he do that anyway, since it resulted in what a lot of people called a boring first 7 races? There's nothing in it for him.

Even if Bernie and Brawn had pulled off some kind of mega-fraud, there would be some evidence. If the entire season was rigged, people would notice. People were whispering about Renault rigging the 2008 Singapore GP immediately, and yet you and you alone - completely detached from the world of F1 and with innumerable gaps in your knowledge regarding it - suspect foul play. LOGIC dictates you are a lunatic.

Incidentally, it does not matter what experience you have in the "motorsport bizzzzzzz" because what is necessary here is intelligence and critical thinking. I'm sure you could post up some pictures of some race cars and claim to be an expert - guess what? So could everyone else here. Even if it's true, it doesn't strengthen your argument because you've demonstrated in your original post and elsewhere that you don't even know enough facts about the 2009 season to make a judgment on its quality, let alone accuse Bernie and Brawn of rigging it.

Now kindly sod off and leave this forum in peace.

Hello to everyone,
I am new here but I watch F1 since the mid 80's as A kid and I have to say that I feel that this was the worse F1 season since I started watching it.
Many "secrets" were revealed during this year that made us all feel that it is not A fair sports anymore, or maybe it never was?!
I and also people with whom I discussed f1 have lost the trust in it and feel that all the races are all fixed, everything there is bogus.

There are many reasons for this feeling, logical reasons but the main reason why this was one of the worse ever F1 seasons was Brawn GP, and to be more accurate it was because Brawn GP won the constructor and drivers championships.
The winning of Brawn GP is not logical, it is not logical that they won 8 out of the 16 races in their maiden season.
It is not logical because:
1. They were just established in March 2009.
2. They didn't have an engine until the very last moment.
3. They didn't practice at all before the season started.
.

OMG

Naive?
Not factually correct.

Hahahaha Jacob, funny man!!!
Very naive, nice idea to slag off everyone who dared to question your shitty thread.

I didn't call you a sausageface (its the filter) I meant d!ckhead.

Why you call me a geek?
You don't know me.
And yeah I would call you it, or anyone for that matter, to their face, because I just don't care.

Welcome to the forum

Now I read what Jacob wrote at the start aswell.
What are you a conspiracist?
Its bull mate.

Jacob, your knowledge of Formula One is clearly suspect, but agree with you on one thing: this has been an abominable season and I am wholeheartedly glad it is nearly over.

Yes, but you're a well-known raving lunatic. A description equally fitting for the Fantastic Mr. Jacob. Perhap for his next story, he will explain how Lewis Hamilton and Ronald McDonald conspired to trick Juan Pablo Montoya into moving to NASCAR - their sole aim? To earn Lewis Racechick's adoration!

 how'd I get in this crazy thread? Lewis doesnt need any help to get my adoration-he just has to drive his car :cloud9: Juan? he doesnt even need to do that.

Well this topic was quite an interesting read :P
I thought it was a great season since I don't think anyone could've predicted the end result before the season started. I don't see why it's "not allowed" for a team to win the championship in their maiden season and how that makes a season bad...I actually find that to be exciting instead of just having Ferrari or McLaren win as usual. Also I don't see how or why this season could've been "rigged"? Jenson had a good car and drove well so he won the championship...I don't see anything wrong with that.

I have never witnessed a bad season simply because I love F1 and just deal with it.

Now now... :nono:

Remember when we drove away snuggles? :hehe:

Jacob, I hope you stay here, but please be short and sweet. :)

While you may be onto something here, we generally do like to keep our threads such as this factual. Opinions are voiced when called for, but your use of the word "fact" in most of your threads, is improper. Try saying "I think" instead. :)

A fact will generally have a third party source as a reference.

I think Ross Brawn is a mastermind, and so is Adrian Newey. These guys used to be heads of Mclaren and Ferrari. So it should come at no surprise that they would dominate this season. And I think it was one of the most exciting seasons we've had in a while.
