* I don't know who AKR is but if she is single and cute I would'nt mind to be introduced to her and it doesn''t really matter to me which team she likes or dislikes

I've solved the conundrum - 'Jacob' is actually akr pretending to be ignorant!! :hehe: (Just a joke, Keke - don't shout at me! :D )

Denthul's comments are correct; it's not what the FIA have spoon fed us. We are intelligent people who have 100s of years of combined F1 experience; we don't buy everything that the FIA and FOM tell us. Honda spent most of their 2008 budget on development of what became the Brawn GP car in 2009. Even when Honda pulled out, Ross Brawn and co kept on developing their car during the winter so it's not like it suddenly popped up two weeks before the season. It may have lacked on track testing but I would bet that it had extensive wind tunnel testing and Ross Brawn is a technical genius making the best interpretation of the new rules and regulations.

* Dnethul, the 400 million figure you wrote about is EXACTLLY the kind of flase info that is being spreaded which I and actually everyone should aviod, you better get your facts corrected.

Why do you think this? All those facts are completely true! Brawn told Honda before they pulled out that they had a really strong car for 2009 but Honda had to pull out because the cost of the team was not acceptable to the share holders at the time when the company was loosing so much money! The team easily spent that sort of money on that car and they did design 3 cars at once to find out which was the best option. You also have to remember they had one of the greatest engineers presently in F1 to help work on that car he also spent a lot of 2008 re organising the team. For someone who has watched the sport for such a long time you seem nearly completely deluded or clueless about how it works.

I was under the impression that accurate information did not require correction... ;)

Look, I dunno - her name has been spelt at least half a dozen different ways on here - I just took the most popular one...

I think this season has been one of the best for a long time. There was no way of knowing who was going to do well and who was going to struggle, and for that matter, who was going to make up the midfield, and all the teams had ups and downs.
Much better than sitting down to watch a race knowing that one of four cars will probably win.

It has been nice to see different teams come to the fore every race, but I think the season has been let down a bit by a lot of very boring races this year - particularly after everybody else started using DDD's. :(

This season aint been the worst ever. Particularly because the title went almost down the wire. Anyone of 4 could have won it just a race or two ago. I think its been great. Abu Dhabi was a fantastic circuit and i think if next season is as good as this one we are in for a treat! lookin forward to 132 days time!!

Jacob, your knowledge of Formula One is clearly suspect, but agree with you on one thing: this has been an abominable season and I am wholeheartedly glad it is nearly over.

Yes, but you're a well-known raving lunatic. A description equally fitting for the Fantastic Mr. Jacob. Perhap for his next story, he will explain how Lewis Hamilton and Ronald McDonald conspired to trick Juan Pablo Montoya into moving to NASCAR - their sole aim? To earn Lewis Racechick's adoration!

I can't be bothered to read the original post, because this has been one of the most competitive and intriguing seasons for ages.
The only real unpleasantness being the revelations about Renault in 08 and Lewis getting sucked into telling fibs.
Outside of that it has been enthralling. Roll on 2010!

headless or should I call you A frustrated geek boy?
I wonder if you would be that brave calling people names if you were not behind the screen, hmm I seriously doubt it!
Juliet P, I guess that instead of discussing (even proving me wrong) you are more bothered and wondering why I am capitalizing the letter "A" (I should be punished for it no?!), or calling me A troll (so sweet of you to say nasty words to A person that hasn't done anything bad to you), but I understand now clearly what you ment by welcoming me in your first post, I guess you need A place where you can channel your bitterness and frustration on people and this is the place haa?
And Jensonb, from your nick it is obvious that you are A Jenson button fan but that does'nt change the fact that Jenson hasn't done ANYTHING SIGNIFICENT in almost 10 years of F1!
he won just 1 one race prior to this season, and suddenly he was "good enough" to win from race one and that too without any practising like his colleagues from other teams? He would'nt have won the title this season if it was A fair season.
I also want to remind you (I am sure you can find it online!), that Honda managers said before the team was sold to Brawn that they worked on the devolopment of the car BUT.. BUT not as much as they really wanted too and they didn't work on it as they did in previous pre-seasons BECAUSE the uncertainty of Honda's future in F1.
By the way I have noticed that some folks here just jump and say stuff like "hey you don't understand anything".
Well folks, atleast I have some expierence in this field (not gonna bother and enter it), I also own A couple of cars in which I do track racing (if there are some fools here that will insist in not believing I can EASILY post pics of the same cars in various countries at various times). I wonder which expierence the people that are presuming to be experts and saying I don't understand anything really have? And also if I am not an expert so what? Who made you'll the guros of F1?
So if those that are saying that they are better and smarter, prove it! Tell me which expierence you'll have in the motor sport bizz!!

I also have to say that it is really funny that people are writing here that it was an exciting season, or coming up with HUGE LIES like Honda spent 400 million on the devolopment of the current car and I can go on and on, my main claim is not that it was or wasn't an exciting season or not (it is funny some don't understand simple stuff when I am the person here that is not from an english speaking country!), my main claim is, and I stand behind it is that the SEASON WAS FIXED!
Brawn-Ecclstone won by cheating!! (I have written in my previous posting more than enough logical reasons to explain my case).

A last comment on this matter (not addressing the folks that reply in A civilized manner and state their opinion even if it is opposite to mine), and the folks that reply now don't be offended if I won't respond to what you'll are going to say, I have noticed that some folks on this forum are not here to discuss other people's opinions, agree with them or prove them wrong, they are here just to gang up and bash at other forum members.
