I personally don't believe anyone to blame. In my opinion mark was far to close to Lewis car. Lewis was backing away from the SC. Mark should have been 5 car length away from Lewis car something webber conveniently forgotten.

It's possible but does no-one else find it odd that Lewis went onto the outside line which no-one else took and actually slowed down so much he was over 5 cars from the safety car?

F1 regs are
"The safety car shall be used at least until the leader is behind it and all remaining cars are lined up behind him. Once behind the safety car, the race leader must keep within five car lengths of it."

Webber wan't even that close anyway 'til Hamilton braked. Besides I'm fed up of it now and I'm sure everyone is by now - F1 officials will make the decision they make. It's all but over anyway :)

From my point of view, LH was driving like a drunken idiot. Unfortunately he can't really blame alcohol, he did it on purpose. He wanted to scare other drivers and make them keep huge distance, so that no one can surprise him on restart. Typical "don't mess with me, I'm crazy" bullying behaviour.

I am not sure (yet) about this race as I haven't check on current rules, but FIA should have rules that will lead to swift punishment of such behavior in following races and seasons. Drivers should be forced to keep within, say, 5 and 10 meters away from car in front - no agresive acceleration or braking while behind safe car. If they are afraid someone else might have better restart than they do, well, isn't life a bitch.

As I said before in different posts, with every new race, every new interview kid looks to me more and more arrogant prick. But I still hope I'm wrong and he'll grow up to be not just big driver, but also big man.

why are people so hostile towrads other drivers? im sure everybody supports their favourite team, driver. Thats excellent and is what sport is about. Without other drivers though, there would be no sport and no excitement, without the differant colourful personalities no one would even show an interest.

If a driver has committed an offence it will be looked into and brought to task by the relevant authorities, if he is found innocent the matter will be dropped and the person who had been accusing unnecessarily will be left with egg on their face.

I dont support any driver or any team, but i appreciate the work the drivers have put in to get where they are, if anything the governing bodies should make it their first priority to stamp out the tit for tat and the playground tactics the teams are carrying out at the moment. F1 is about car racing and not one upmanship.

It's like F1 isn't about winning on merit or on the track. Lewis shouldn't even be under investigation F1 looks like a nasty joke with bitter talentless drivers like Webber put their two bits in. Webber had a problem with Nico now it's with THE "kids" as he put it. The man is sick with jealousy. People say webber is a good driver I disagree he been in F1 for about 14 years and have achieve nothing. I hate ever bone in his body. I am a Lewis, Massa, Nico, Davidson fan it's time he and his stupid team WENT, and make young talent come forward like Carol in GP2 webber is taking up space and he becoming a bitter antique driver. :(:(

Youre the most uninformed, one-eyed schmuck on this forum lewisclown.

I dont seem to remember Webber & Nico having any conflicts (correct me if im wrong)

Hasnt been in F1 for 14 years, (where do you get this s*** from) he became a test F1 driver in 2000/01.

And any quotes youre referring to are taken totally out of context.

I think you are the clown mate! Webber has spent his "career" winging. When he wins anything worth a comment then he can be taken seriously. Remember he is a mate of FA. As for the F1 MM has made his feelings quite clear as far as LH and MCLaren are concerned. Any excuse to Take him out of the championship is game as far as hes concerned.F1 is a complete joke this year and i for one wont be watching untill mosley goes and F1 is teated with the respect it deserves. Politics has to be removed as well as the bosses who run it for their own benefit, and use their authority for their own preduces.

As ive said before in my opinion Webber has done what he can with what he has, lets check it out -

Bet Yoong in 2002.
Smashed Pizzonia in 2003.
Bet Klien in the points in 2004.
Bet Heidfeld in the points in 2005.
Bet Rosberg in the points in 2006.
Has outqualified Coulthard in all but 1 race this year, and would have been way ahead of him if it werent for the bs lastweekend (seperate forum...) despite more mechanical failures.

Im sure you guys all rate Heidfeld, Rosberg and Coulthard as solid drivers, yet when a guy like Webber says something negative (considering the machines he's been driving is more than justified) youre pretty quick to pounce on him.

Who cares if he is a friend of FA, I think youve been reading to many of lewisclowns posts, I think hes a bit too well adjusted to try and sabotage lewis' championship.

He still hasnt won anything worth talking about, and unless ferrari or MCLaren take him we will never know. As for Coulthard i am scottish too but can still see a has been when i see it. Webber isnt doing himself any favours. He cant blame one driver then change his mind later. That just makes him look stupid and childish

Its been about 15 minutes since 7Up posted the findings .... FA is quiet ? of course he is quiet he hasnt had a chance to say anything and why would he ???? or were you expecting a personal telegram ?

Webber expressed his opinion in the FIA conference so another unvalid point ..

I joined this forum to have a reasonable conversation with informed people, you and lewisclown are proving this isnt going to happen ...

Edited by Selcouth_Feline: Please don't try and get around the swear filters - they are there for a reason. Thanks!

I didnt join this forum to be sworn at! If you cant reply with a decent comment then maybe this isnt the place for you. I didnt write that message just for you. Webber expressed his opinion after blaming Vittel. A reasonable person having an "informed conversation" would call Lewis by his name. How childish!!

I am not a mclaren or lewis fan BUT The whole thing stinks, Why wait before blaming Hamilton. Why didnt webber make the accusation on Sunday? Hamilton is a great driver, but he has things going against him. Hes Fast, Hes a rookie, Hes Leadibg the championship and hes black and drives for mclaren, Everything mosley is against. its well known hes a fashist, like his father, making the BNP look like saints. Hamilton never stood a chance from day 1

Yes Pit babe, I agree about Mad Max Mosley. he is a despicable specimen, but Lewis has been exonerated of blame and the rest of the wannabe champions are going to have to do their fighting on the track for the remainder of the season. I noticed that Raikkonen didn't feel it necessary to whine, neither did Massa. Both of them are probably quite happy to race for their honours rather than enlist the help of derogatory comments and crying on Mosley's shoulder, unlike some of the others.
