The Tesla is rediculous imo, $109K for a base model and $129K for the sport edition :yikes::rolleyes: , now that is a :censored: joke!!
I could buy a MKI MR2 for less than $3K, even less  , then drop another $3-5K into the car and fawk that Tesla up :wavey: .

Can we get back to discussing REAL cars now?

yeah but youd still only be driving an old MR2

250miles, that is more than I can get out of a tank of the Evo or my kit car.

Ford KA amazing around town, OK on country roads and motorways.

Mk1 MR2 Non Turbo good fun, but watch out for air locks in the radiators
for the Turbo ones watch out for a bit of understeer

MGF and IIRC some S1's.... beware of the K series engines

I want a RX8 next since its a rotary engine and RWD.

rx8 was my first choice, but was too pricey in road tax and petrol cost lol

my mate used to have an RX7 and that was a real brake chewer because of the lack of engine braking. is the RX8 better at that?

no idea i'll let you know when i've bought it :P

Reaching a little far here, but I would shoot for BMW 7-series or Audi a/s8. I like big powerful sedans like that.

Realistically, it'd be a 5-series or an M from Infiniti.

I have now put another vehicle on my list and that is an '03-'05 Evo 8. I'm gonna go test drive an '05 MR Edition tomorrow  . Hopefully they will let me drive it for the weekend while we workout the numbers.

Yah I know mate :hehe: but I knew my life as a 'car whore' would not be easy :) . What I'm doing is taking into consideration the cost of acqusition, payments, daily driveability and the cost of repairs and upgrades.

The MR I will be looking at tomorrow has very low mileage imo at only 47K miles and they are only asking $18K. I still owe $5K on my 4Runner but the market value is between $9-$10K so I hope to use that to my advantage, I only want to pay what I am paying at the moment for my monthly ins/car payment bill, I think I can do with enough persistance.

This is an '06 model yet identical to the one I looking at except for a few minor exterior upgrades.
