Button has only failed to score points at one gp all year. Even if he hasn't won since June he has been superbly consistent with scoring points. Hasn't really made a mistake all season.

I completely agree with you about Hamilton. Save for when the pressure got to him a little bit at the 2007 British Grand Prix, when he was ill at one of Grands Prix in 2008 and the last race when he and McLaren both got the tactics completely wrong, Hamilton always aims to do the best he possibly can, no matter what he's driving. That requires more skill and demands more respect than Button's shameful (in)actions.

I was about to log off, but I couldn't leave in the face of such bile from yourself. Again, I comment on whatever I like and express whatever view I like, because this is a discussion forum. If you don't like my view, quote it and then make a counterargument. It's not a tricky concept to master. Second, since when I have been a big fan of Hamilton? In fact, I'm usually getting slated by Anna and frowned on by my fellow McLaren supporters for criticising him!

Look mate (Mclaren fan), I have noticed your comments regarding Button in a few threads and most of them have been "unsportsmanlike" and "offensive". Now as you point out, forums are for expressing your opinions and thoughts and then if others don't agree they can respond etc.

However I would advise you to keep within the spirit of good clean arguments/discussions rather than below the belt personal comments aimed at individual drivers, then you may actually get some good grown up discussion on all matters regarding F1.

Stick to that advise and your time on here will be much more enjoyable

He's quite right, he's taken many a slating. I stand guilty as charged.
Tex get the facts right before you have a go eh. Chris has never called lewis a god and those sort of comments you made, particularly to someone to whom they do not apply, are obviously going to ellicit an irate response.

while there actually may be something in the air or maybe the water I always ( sortof ) gotton along with chris cos we have a common dislike which happens to be hamilton. My own dislike of the guy may be a bit more for that matter. Chris has never made it a secret where hamilton is concerned, but where the hell do you guys get off disrespecting Tex like that. That is not on. tex has always tried to remain as neutral as can be even though he clearly has his own favourite team as well. To Chris I say ... boet I have always respected your posts since its always accompanied with proof of some sort - but I dont get your apparent attack of the man on that other thread as well over some stupid silly remark.... which i think we should not get into.
Looks like the Mc claren fanclub is all going crazy as we get closer to season end. wonder why that is...

It is all good we just have different views and opinions yet I still respect anyone I have made mad so for the good of the forum and our friendship's I will try to be less abrasive and more understanding.

Now back to the topic I have a funny feeling that JB could very well lose the title to Rubens or Jenson will nick the title by only a few points. Tomorrows practice will be very telling .

Practice isn't a good indicator of anything; how often have we seen practice form translate into a race result? Jenson will have to do something spectacular to lose this title with a 14 point lead in the world drivers championship with two races remaining, Barrichello needs at least two second places and two no scores for Jenson to take the WDC; and with the current form of the Brawn GP car; I think that is unlikely. Of course anything can happen but I doubt that Jenson being just six points off winning the championship will lose it now!

Just saying it's our FIRST INDICATION not the true indicator which is quali.

You could argue that not even qualifying is a true indicator with different fuel loads; the fuel adjusted grid is often radically different to the race start position!

Yes I agree with you I guess I should have made my opinion more clear in the sense that setup's will offer more of a concensus as to the performance, I took a shot .

I get nervous just thinking about it (but excited to) the pressure is on!!!!! I just know my heart will be in my mouth at the start of the race come Sunday (and at the end of quali). But that's what it's all about and the reason we all love the sport that is F1 no matter who you support.
