But has shown another spark of genius. Compared to most people who become involved in professional motorsport, the guy has got involved in things quite late on, as he was forced to stop racing after Ayrton's and his father's deaths. So, for Bruno to basically start afresh at his age and to learn as quickly as he has done shows a lot of talent. Further, he did well in GP2 last season, only losing the title to Pantano, who knows GP2 cars inside out, and bad luck (like colliding with a deer or something!).
It's also good that Bruno has not been twiddling his thumbs over the past year or so, getting some more experience, especially that which will be useful for the 2010 Formula One regulations. The amount of sponsorship Bruno is almost certain to attract will be of value to a lot of Formula One teams, especially the upstarts.
It's unfair to say Bruno might not be as good as Ayrton, and, besides, it's irrelevant to whether or not he should be in Formula One. How many drivers have there been throughout the history of motorsport who have been as good as Ayrton? Some would say absolutely none; it's certainly no more than several. All that matters is whether or not Bruno is good enough for Formula One at the moment (which I think he is, certainly with a year's experience under his belt).
