Nelson Piquet has been confirmed by Stagecoach as a driver for next season.

He will drive their number 42 bus around the Manchester city centre circuit.

When asked about what about they thought about Nelson Piquet cheating during the Singapore Grand Prix of 2008 David Jones CEO of Stagecoach simply said "as long as he does not start pocketing fairs for himself and being rude to customers he's happy to employee him as a driver"

He says he's terribly sorry for what he did and he regrets it badly! How can anyone believe that, I mean, he just said it after being fired. Would he feel so sorry had Renault kept him in the team? I think he would not say a word about it. In fact, it was his father who brought this scandal up, he probably wouldn't have the guts to bring it up himself.

However, everyone should be allowed a second chance. I personally don't think anyone would ever offer him a seat in a Formula-1 team again, but if that does happen, I'm sure the boy will not make these mistakes again and will also be extremelly eager to prove himself. He might do fine.

The only way he will ever sit in an F1 car again is if he can ask dad for the keys. He wasn't particularly fast at any point, didn't produce any phenomenal drives that I can recall and he's a back stabbing git when things don't go his way. On top of all of that, his daddy is a blackmailing has been who can't seem to keep his over indulged mouth shut for any length of time either. I'm not sure which I can't stand more, Nelson Piquet senior or Anthony Hamilton.

Never say never in Formula 1, I remember when people said that JB would never amount to anything... Piquet will be back as the new teams will probably need a pay driver!

Speed TV announcers *USA* said during the japan race, that piquet is going to test for nascar truck series soon... hahaha "Formula 1 the official feeder series for Nascar" lol
