Should we expect Williams to be thrown out of FOTA again? :hehe:

If Williams use the KERS technology, I fully expect Ferrari and McLaren to follow suit as both teams have had success with the system this year!

All this was agreed before McLaren and Ferrari started winning races using the system!

On a sidenote, the McLaren KERS; was it developed by McLaren or Mercedes? if it was the later we may see it appearing on the Brawn cars next season as the German manufacturer is supposedly buying a share in Brawn GP. KERS will almost certainly be around next season, we'll probably see more cars using KERS in '10 than in '09!

Pretty sure it's a McLaren system, but you would have thought that they would have needed to collaborate with Merc at some point in the development process.

Rising number one of Formula 1, Juan - Juan, one wonders should Juan only win one Formula 1 one year, would Juan have won that one in round one, Juan??

It's actually comes from Mercedes high performance engines but it doesn't really come from them... Zytek developed and builds the system but they have an exclusive partnership with Mercedes High Performance engines. http://www.zytekgroup.co.uk/Default.aspx?tid=405

If you know anything about McLaren's engine deal with Porsche in the 1980s, it's quite similar to that.
