To claim Alonso wasn't involved in the latest "Gate" when it centred around him benefiting to such a degree that he won a race from a previously unimaginable position is dishonest at best.

I'd accept naive but I don't think you can call people dishonest for thinking he may be innocent.

Innocent or not, as he gained by the action of his team he IS involved.

Yes he gained from it but please show me evidence that he knew what was going on beforehand. If you can't do that then I suggest you refrain from calling those of us who believe he may be innocent dishonest.

Fraid he was up to his armpits in spygate, and being a reasonably intelligent man would have had a pretty good idea what was going on at Singapore(would probably have got that even if he was dead thick) So he shut up and took the spoils...not really innocent

I am not suggesting that those who feel he may be innocent are dishonest, I am merely stating the fact that it would be dishonest to suggest that Alonso didn't gain in any way from the actions of other people in his team. as he clearly has gained, even if he knew nothing about the whole sorry mess, he is involved.

To put it simply, on team orders NP jr crashed into a wall allowing Alonso to take the win. find a way of rephrasing that where Alonso isn't mentioned.

I admit that he may be guilty but I'm not willing to pass judgement on him without a shred of evidence. He''s being condemned for what he should have known rather than what we know took place. I have no problem with you or anyone else believing he was aware of the plan, I'd just rather not be called dishonest for thinking otherwise.

If I misunderstood you then I apologise. I certainly won't claim that Alonso didn't gain, as I stated in my earlier post, he most certainly did.
