I hate to say it but Australia have comprehensively outplayed England... and the ECB have elected to abandon the 50 overs game at domestic level.
R.I.P. English One Day International cricket
Meh, Test cricket's more important and the Ashes are the epitome of that
Is ODI still being played for the world cup ?
As Lionel Richie would say...
"Oh What a feeling, when we're dancing on the ceiling"

Celebratory - that's all.
MY question though hasn't been answer. Do you cricket fans, expect McLaren because he kindly answered, watch the "Cricket World Cup" when it's on and support England?
Ahh but you watch that, yet not the usual ODI series?
What does that say?
You can't have it both ways.

I used to watch every one day series too. I'd get up at 4:30 in the morning over the winter to watch an innings before I went to school

Geed.
End of the day though, and this happens in countless sports involving the English... they suddenly flock to support their national team when they are in a big competition and look like winning.
So much so that they can wave there little flags etcetc.
However for the rest of the year they don't bother watching...
If you watch and intently follow the sport as much as you can then yes you are fine. But if you do not... it spells out two words...
Glory Hunting...
You wish you could have a go don't you?
