I have been thinking about this, and I think Bernie is right. the Medal system is the way forward. However Gold, Silver, Bronze will only work for a field of 4 cars.

But for a field of 26 cars like F1 has next year he would need 25 Medals for it all to be worth while. I really don't think that medals are the way forward but I think I can see what Bernie is saying.

With the medal awarded to the driver ranked last being a turd from Bernie, freeze-dried and pressed flat to fit in the medal mold with MM's bum imprinted on it. Second to last driver will get a medal made of a huge pink bubblegum that was chewed on by cubehead's jaws for about an hour, with a relief print of Danica's :boobies:

lol so if lewis won in Valencia he would be 3rd, if he won again in spa he would be 2nd which is a joke considering how bad that Mclaren's been.

it would be almost impossible for anyone other than vettle to win the WDC - if Button wins tommrow the WDC would be almost 100% his no matter what (only needing one more race to secure the championship) and bernie says points are its stupid.

what f***ing a idiot.

edit: nice one for doing that Jabberwocky it really spells it out

Could be worse...Positions 2 and below under the FiA-Approved version of Winner Takes All were not defined by the driver with the most wins, and instead by the current points system.

It's the worst of both worlds!

Definitely; it really shows how crazy Ecclestone's idea is.
