I want Lewis to mess up his start and then try and cut Heikki up into turn 1 so they end up taking each other off.:twisted:

what did martin say earlier 10kg = 4 laps

so rubens has 2-3 more laps than Lewis.

Which, I think, puts him up front as the fastest driver fuel-corrected. However I doubt that three laps will be enough unless he gets one of his good starts and can stay ahead of the McLarens. He should be safe for third place, though, seeing as Vettel is so light. I really think this one is between the McLarens.

I think Lewis could easily win this if he gets away clear.

I just hope Hekki can stay with him and play rear gunner so we can clinch our 1st one-two in over a season.

I want Heikki to jump him at the start and win. He's really been on it this weekend. :)

A 1-2 either way would be good for McLaren, though.

Yeh would be cool if Hekki Did that but, i can't see him having the race pace to match lewis all of a sudden.

Don't be ruining my hopes, man. Of course, I wouldn't object if Rubinho got ahead of them both and stayed there... :D

A bit harsh :D

I thought that. There is pleanty enough chances for a safety car as it is

Interesting point to note for this race.
Usually the odd positions, 1,3,5 etc start on the clean side of the track. But Valencia its not the same case. 1st starts on the dirty side.

I think the man of the qualifying was Kovalinen. No doubt. He had a heavier car, and Lewis had the updated car. Yet he was only thousands off pole positions. In a perfect world, Kovalinen could've taken pole position by almost 4 tenths today.

But who knows, it might not be all bad tomorrow. We know that off the line, its McLaren vs McLaren. With KERS, no other car behind has a shred of hope. And since Kovy is on the clean side, he's well poised to take the lead off the line tomorrow. Lewis won't have a chance to overtake on track, since its Valencia. So he'll have to do it in the pits. But Kovy is fuelled longer. You have to say, it doesn't look all bad for a Kovy win tomorrow. Wouldn't that be something :D Really, he just needs a good start, and to have the pace too hold of Lewis.

Just a mention for Williams. Rosberg clearly said, theres no point in starting ahead of the KERS cars. Since they just take you off the line and your stuck going slowly behind them. But Rosberg starts behind the KERS cars, and has more fuel. So hopefully he can have a better race tomorrow.

Hopefully Vettel is okay tomorrow. I still want him fighting for the championship till Abu Dhabi. He's actually on the clean side of the grid for a change, and he stops quite early. But if he can just somehow take Rubens off the line, and follow the McLarens, it could end up being quite a good race for Vettel.

Rubens can win if he can stay with the lead McLaren, but unfortunately i think one will bugger off up the road while the other holds the pack up.

The Brawns and Kimi did a pretty good job in quali after all then.

Has anyone noticed Kubica? He's screwed

If only he could.

And Webber too, Red Bull have really surprised me with their not so good pace. Vettel is also screwed if he doesn't clear Ruby off the line.

Not so bad for Nico afterall, he's got less to lose from the clean side of the track, heavier fuel, the KERS cars infront of him and more to gain.

It's the ol' rear gunner routine. Ruining races since people realised strategy could actually affect races.

IMO the track did not suit RedBull's chassis because they went for an outright speed setup but then again I'm not certain. Valencia is more of a mechanical grip than aero grip track because of the speed, the faster one can enter and exit a corner or corner's depict's their overall lap speed.

Looking forward to the race,

The other thing is it's a stop/start circuit and the Red Bull hates those
