You're missing the point. When they wrote this rule they completely failed to take the need to get replacement and reserve drivers up to speed. The rule should be changed to allow that.

In my view, it's too late to change the rules for this season. Alguersuari and Schumacher's situations (or something similar) could easily crop up again this season, so consistency needs to be maintained. The rules must be revised for next season, however.

If he returns this season will he get special treatment, as surely he will have to prove he can drive after the injures he suffered. 3 months or so out is a long time i think he should be allowed

Well all love Massa and i think after what has happened i doubt any one will say 'No' to Massa testing!!

Why should he get any special treatment??? The other teams said no to Schumacher so why would they treat Massa any differently? some one early said 'rules are rules' and i agree!!

Well i think Williams hates him for other reasons, would you give Mike tyson a year to train up for one fight if he was set to fight in 3 weeks? No. Because you know Mike Tyson would still kill you. Massa is a different story, no one will have problems against him. Sheeesh! If they do. man I'm going to form a union and strike

I seriously doubt that Massa would feel aggrieved if he didn't recieve special favours from everyone else, so don't get too worked up about it.
