Q. Force India had a strong end to the first part of the season. What have you got planned to sustain this momentum to the end of the year?

Vijay Mallya: We have a major aerodynamic upgrade coming for Valencia, which includes a new floor, bargeboard area and front wing. We're looking forward to it as we had a very successful aero test with Tonio [Liuzzi] in the week before the summer shutdown. With this knowledge I hope we're able to maintain, if not improve, our relative position on track.

F1 is more competitive than ever now so we need to keep these upgrades coming through and staying ahead of the others, who no doubt will be improving as well.

Q. What will your aims be for this second part of the season?

VM: We should definitely be Q2, maybe even the top of Q2 in Valencia and beyond. I'm quite optimistic as we're also working on more upgrades for the final races of the season so fingers crossed we should be able to maintain our momentum. There's more to come for Singapore as well in the latter part of the year so if we continue on our trajectory now we're looking quite good, on target with the goals we set at the start of the year.

Force India are confident!

They have shown great pace at times so I would expect better result's from here on out. Oh and FINALLY we have a race this weekend, man that was the longest layoff I can endure.

lol crickets easier to dip in and out of so F1 for me.

See, on the one hand it's practice for what turned out to be the most disappointing grand prix of last year. But on the other, we have three drivers who I am interested in judging: Alguersuari, Badoer and Grosjean. So I think it may actually swing in F1's favour (after all, I can open the match scorecard on my other monitor).

It's been a long month but it's time to get back down to business. Thank god Hamilton's MP4-24 is finally hooked up. Watch out Brawn.

Seems like its anyone's race...

Brawn could have fixed some issues
Ferrari could have improved on Hungary's form
Red Bull might just cruise it
Mclaren are looking mighty
And who knows what Alonso can do

Hopefully all this adds to the excitement of what could be a boring race again. But its been soooooooooooooo long, Nothing could dissapoint :)
