It's not deceitful, nor is it cheating. These kinds of runs were agreed as allowed from day 1, hence the mandatory 100KM limit.

Mate, I won't cop an attitude if people stick to talking about the issue at hand, instead of pulling the childish crap bud uses in place of an actual argument.

You might notice, the first thing I said is "it's not deceitful" and that is what the rest of the discussion hinged on. The reference to it not being cheating was just a response to something someone had said a few replies before mine. If you're not going to follow the entire thread, fine - sometimes they develop quickly and it can be a chore catching up, I get that, sometimes I skip bits of threads too. But don't start jumping down our throats without knowing everything that was said and looking at why.

So, once again, to re-iterate: Everyone is aware they are exploiting a loophole. That doesn't mean it's right, but it does mean it's not cheating as was suggested earlier. They put out a Press Release, making it plain to everyone what they were doing and leaving us in little doubt as to why. That is not deceitful. That is all we're trying to say.

Just because it's against the spirit of the rules, doesn't mean it's deceitful. Doesn't matter whether you agree with it or not (You clearly don't, whereas I don't care - it's not entirely cool but given how useless those Promo tyres supposedly are I can't see the harm), deception is the act of convincing another to believe information that is not true, or not the whole truth. Since everyone is aware why they're really doing it, and they were pretty explicit about it, it's not deceitful.

Fact of the matter is if Massa hand't been injured this promo wouldn't of taken place with Badoer driving it would of been Kimi or Massa for Brand Awareness not a TD, that is if the "promo" had taken place at all.
