What a load of dung. First they start penalizing people for racing incidents, now they are doing so with mechanical failures? What is next? Penalties for poor starts because it endangers those behind you? Penalties for stalling it on the grid, spinning in a corner or allowing someone to pass you on the outside?

This is supposed to be racing. The FIA is pissing me off more each and every race. Honestly it's getting to be a bother just watching it on TIVO. It's one goddamm fiasco after another. Show me where anywhere in racing that a team has been penalized for a wheel coming unhitched? It happens. Another goddamm FIA farce.

Yup imo, it was dangerous and idiotic what they did although I am sad to see them banned from a race. The FIA had no choice but to come down hard on them considering the timing of it all and how reckless it was of them.

I absolutely agree with you there... so much for cost cutting...

I think the best decision will be to postpone the penalty to another GP weekend instead of Valencia.
