So, what if this whole plot was backwards and Ferrari was the one who stole the documents. Would Mclaren be the "cheaters" or would it be okay, because its Mclaren and they are just doing the right thing?

Also, can anyone explain to me how the Mclaren car goes from breaking down in almost every single race last season, to winning the championship, all over in a time span of a couple of months? It wasn't a gradual improvement.

they did not break down all that much in 06 it was 05 that was the real bad year, and mr tifosi i like your name because you represent the idiots of the f1 paddock who are no different to the muslim jihads!! brainwashed itdiots!!!!

did you ever think that maybe the 19k rpm limit the engine homologation had anything to do with McLarens engine performance heck the whole grid has a improved engine life now!
and if you want to use Ferraris poor reliability as an excuse for McLarens better reliability then by all means continue youre representing the tifosi well moron!!!

i guess if McLarens reliablity comes from reading hte dossier they know how to use Ferraris info better than themselves wouldnt you say? what a pathetic excuse! duck

You crack me up. How many races did Mclaren win last season? Thats right, ZERO. How in the hell do they go from winning ZERO races, finishing second at best (only 4 times in 18 races), being almost 100pts down in the constructors, to leading the constructors by over 20pts, to winning more then half of the races so far? Thats a pretty dramatic improvement in a couple months, is it not?

how did Ferrari go from winning 1 farsical race in 05 to how many in 06? oh wait new tyre rules oh wait new tyres for 07 aswell!

get a brain sausage f***

If anything, the 07 tyre change was a disadvantage for Mclaren. Also, the 05 bridgestone tyres that Ferrari was using were highly inferior to the Michelins that the top teams were using. So there's a reason for Ferrari's improvement from 05-06. But, were is the reason for Mclaren's improvement this year?

BTW, there is no need for any faul language, unless of course you are worried for Mclaren. :)

the 07 tyre being a harder compound to the 06 tyre suited McLaren as it did with the 05 tyre which was also a hard compound! also McLaren gave up on the 06 campaign to concentrate on the 07 car early on in the 06 season. So to say McLarens performace this year is due to copying ferrari then the time fram youre suggesting goes way back to the middle of 06!!!
The 07 tyre was brand spanking new for EVERYONE even Ferrari to suggest it should have suited Ferrari due to it being a bridgestone would suggest Bridgestone and Ferrari are in cohoots with each other would it not? to be savvy to the tyre characteristics before they were even tested by any team is what Ferrari were expecting huh? is that what youre saying? maybe thats why they went for the longer wheel base huh

youre just looking for excuses to back up Ferrari being beaten by McLaren, now its all to do with the tyres, when in affect how could McLaren use the Ferrari info on the NEW tyres when from the get go McLaren were faster than Ferrari on the new tyres in winter testing!!!!!

and ill use foul language when im speaking to foul ignorant fools! ;) i have used this language on this forum and other forums for years just ask DD he will tell you all about my language :P tosser

hey ultimately if you think McLaren are beating Ferrari using their own data then youre saying McLaren use Ferrari info better then themselves huh??? cheers!

Some excellent points from Bud, and one can also factor in how inconsistent McLaren have been for a number of years. 2004 was pathetic, 2005 was pretty good, 2006 was pathetic and now 2007 is good. It's almost like a pattern is emerging. :o

From autosport.com:

The personalities of key players, and historic rivalries and animosity, add another twist to the drama.

It is no secret that FIA President Max Mosley, whose easy aristocratic charm masks a steely determination, and fellow-Briton Dennis do not come high on each other's Christmas card lists.

"Many Formula One insiders believe that the issues surrounding the stolen Ferrari technical data are emblematic of the strained personal relationship between Dennis and Max Mosley," was how experienced commentator Alan Henry put it in the Guardian newspaper on Tuesday.

Another example of personal animosity aside from McLaren and Ferrari, Coughlan and McLaren, and Stepney and Ferrari.

so 2008 should be a bad season and Fernando should move to another team ASAP!

It's possible, but depending on what happens tomorrow, 2008 might be a very bad season anyway!

Denilson is right. All this speculation will be a moot point in 24 hours time. I can't wait to see the fight in the playground after the result 8)
