Ross Braun takes a one year Sabbatical, then a spy scandal erupts. Jean Todt is trying to get something from the Courts & FIA that he is not able to win on the race track. 780 pages of technical documents are flying from computers at Ferrari. Start asking the hard questions, who has access, ability and motivation to get us where we are now. Most good Spy Novels will have a Cross and Double-Cross plot. What if Stepney and Coughlan were setup. Why is Ross Braun taking a Leave of Absence or was it a forced leave. Look at the actions of all people involved in this spy scandal that started at Ferrari. Who is only one left standing, Jean Todt. Take a long hard look at Jean Todt and Ross Braun, something here smells. People in USA are laughing at behavior of Ferrari and FIA. McLaren will prevail, good allways trumps evil.

I really hope you're right but Ferrari and FIA are very powerful.

Oh yeah? Well, people in the USA are laughing at the behavior of McLaren and bozos like you who view this disgusting spy saga as a battle between the 'good' McLaren and 'evil' Ferrari - what a simple minded approach

Thats not a very nice way to welcome someone to the forum.
Shows how ridiculous this affair is making F1 look. Do you think the FIA could be taken to court for bringing the sport into disrepute? They certainly deserve it

Well this:
People in USA are laughing at behavior of Ferrari and FIA. McLaren will prevail, good allways trumps evil.

wasn't a very nice way to introduce yourself to the forum.

So, what if this whole plot was backwards and Ferrari was the one who stole the documents. Would Mclaren be the "cheaters" or would it be okay, because its Mclaren and they are just doing the right thing?

Also, can anyone explain to me how the Mclaren car goes from breaking down in almost every single race last season, to winning the championship, all over in a time span of a couple of months? It wasn't a gradual improvement.

Although I disagree that it's a battle between the 'good' McLaren and 'evil' Ferrari, as I've said several times before on this forum, a lot of what is going on here has a lot to do with personal grudges (Stepney v. Ferrari and Coughlan v. McLaren), old scores and other hidden agendas.

Let's wait until Thursday to see what the story is, I'm 100% sure that users on this forum including myself are tired of the slanderous and ridiculous comments that people are coming out with. Everyone just cool the jets a little.

So darwin dali, I guess I understand why you support ferrari. You have that french thing on your posts and you speak italian. So you must be in love with Todt and Luca. That's why you are so biased towards ferrari! What part of NY you're from?

Not wild. There is a lot of evidence to support my view. Coughlan had fallen out with the McLaren hierarchy and wanted out of the team. At Ferrari, Stepney had his job description changed, was a key ally of Brawn, ruffled the feathers of a number of Ferrari bigwigs, and wanted out of the team. Factor in the typical Italian corruption, the massive distrust between Ferrari and McLaren, FIA poltical views, the influence of big money, and what have you got?

Nope - wrong. I don't support a team per se. If I'd have to choose, I'd pick BMW, but I DON'T. I support individual drivers I like irrespective of the team they're driving for. Exception: I generally don't support drivers in a McLaren, though I've done so in the past (pre- and early RD time).

That's old news and well-known background info for the motivational basis some of the main players have acted on. You made it sound like there's much more to it - but this is almost a given and not new info.
