His Germany start was pretty stupid though.

Yeah 5th to first -damn stupid!!

It was stupid. He overshot the corner, but you cant blame him for trying hard.

He didnt overshoot the corner though. He only went off when his tyre and webbers front wing tagged. If that hadnt happenned he'd have been first out of that corner.

No.
I see its all Webbers fault, and if he didn't deliberately hit Hamilton he would not have won the race?

Not quite sure what you're on about there. No it was not all Webbers fault. It was an unfortunate racing incident, he was unlucky. Nobody's fault. And even had hamilton not been tagged and come out first Webber would still have won the race.

Ah! So you've worked with Hamilton!! That would explain it then. I mean how you have all this extra information on Hamilton than the rest of us. I owe you an apology.

One would hardly need to have worked with Hamilton to know the kind of guy he is. For instance, his attempts to slight McLaren on a number of occasions, despite the team investing much time and money in him, and, of course, his mistruths to the stewards in Australia. :dummyspit:

Apology accepted.

McLaren may be a patheitc sixth at the moment but don't look to Hamilton's gaffes for that look to a poorly designed car. Without Hamilton they wouldnt even be sixth.

Well, if Hamilton had not been smashing race-winning cars into the back of his rival's car and the such like, McLaren would have been able to come up with a better car for 2009.

Granted, Hamilton has put in some good drives this season and over his Formula One career, but when the chips are down, he often comes up short. If you take this season alone, there are a few golden examples. He squandered what was McLaren's best chance of winning a Grand Prix by stuffing his car into the barriers in Monaco, and last weekend managed to botch the team's good prospects for a podium with the team's newly-updated car.

Before Hamilton starts laying down the law to McLaren on how to win Grands Prix and championships, he needs to get himself sorted. :teacher:

Yeah 5th to first -damn stupid!!

Hamilton's start was hardly that special when you consider his car was equipped with KERS and the most "torquey" engine in Formula One.

As is often the case, Hamilton saw red: after passing a few cars and out-braked himself going into the very first corner, very nearly taking out another competitor. Something to be really proud of. :headpat:

I dont believe Hamilton has been laying the law down. And he didnt outbreak himself as has been explained numerous times by numerous people. Granted he has been pushing the car to its absolute limits and and further, that inevitably will sometimes lead to an off. But at least he is always trying, not content to sit back and wait for a better car as some drivers would.
Your dislike of Hamilton and constant harping about how badly he treats his team is as tiresome as it is untrue.

I never noticed McLaren fan hating Hammy, but he makes alot of very interesting and valid points.

He didn't see Red he kept his cool and got to 1st place with a fantastic start.

That was even said during the F1 Fourm on the BBC and its not like Hamilton said it himself he said i made a "ok start".

He got to the place that matters the most then webber hit him that wasn't hamiltons fault.

I do not hate Hamilton. How can I? I don't even know him personally or anything along those lines. However, I do know my Formula One and I don't buy into the personality cult to which you and others subscribe and perpetuate.

Again this is all Ant "I wanna be like Joe Jackson" Hamilton's fault.
For example, Weber and Schumacher were very savvy when it came to sponsorship and such, but they kept it out of the weekend's festivities.

No "flying" for Schumacher

Personality cult?? I like his driving, end of. Its others getting hung up on off track perceived personality defects. And for someone who doesnt hate him you are very vociferous in your disapproval.
