Lets be fair, Brawn had 2 years development and virtually unlimited spending power, the car was always going to be fast. Force India already have the best engine and I don't see the cosworth being better than it next year, even if it is unrestricted.

Guess all this will be a irrelevant now as FOTA are "supposedly" setting up a breakaway series. All the teams will be using the Cosworth engine as there will not be an engine manufacturer in F1, unless the likes of Toyota and McLaren still supply 2009 spec engines to bankroll the new breakaway series.

why not give them 18k limit but not freeze the engine, let Cosworth have free range development wise until they are on par with the rest. If the 3 teams dont like it then get another engine!

It's the logical solution, and I don't believe Cosworth are so hard up they can't make a few tweaks to the engine over the remainder of this year and 2010.

Mosley is trying to force the standard engine in through the back door.
