I never saw the Österreichring, was it any good?

It's awesome, you should be able to get it for rFactor with the F1 1979 mod.

The original Osterreichring was amazing! especially that first corner before they put the chicane in. Just to clarify, Zeltweg was a four corner airfield track that was used for one year before the Osteriechring was used. It was then dropped and later returned with a drastically altered layout, called the A1Ring

Awesome track, it was so very, very quick. The elevation changes and the stunning backdrop are cool too. You can see the original layout compared to the new one here.

This video shows alittle more of the backdrop and speed from an aerial view. Man I remember watching that race and cheering on Berger only to be let down once again by the Benetton .
