Huh? How did Button get a top car in his first season?

Jenson Button started off at Williams alongside Ralf Schumacher in 2000 in a pretty good car. Ralf Schumacher was on the podium 3 times whilst Button didn't manage once and Williams ended up 3rd in constructors championship. Button could have managed to at least get 5/6th behind Ferrari and MClaren AND his team mate but he ended 8th. So although not the best car, there was a lot of potential.

Uh, hey, hang on a minute. He did extremely well in that car. He did become the youngest ever Points Scorer up to that point in it and Frank Williams and Patrick Head were so impressed they spent more than the next 5 years banging their heads against walls over having to let Jens go.

Hammy cant get a break this season yet it is no different than any other successful driver has experienced atleast once in their career. This may not be HIS season but he has many more ahead of him that will be his, I'm pretty sure of that.

My reason for saying this is twofold in that I believe in Lewis's skill and that he will only get better, agreeing with the McLaren camp. Secondly it is to show that someone from another camp does NOT have to resort to utter bollocks and you know who you are . Every season is a heated debate between team/driver supporters but when it gets to the point of, you know exactly what I'm refering too, it is no fun anymore.

Oh one more thing I myself do not enjoy or condone the use of the c*nt word especially in the context that it is being used here as racechick mentioned so tread lightly but enjoy yourself. We are not enemies here thus we should not treat each other as such yet if you feel differently we can gladly show you the door with a smile .
