Damn Damn Damn !! What a race to make a mistake!! His best track! Well there goes my prediction for a podium :( Unles it pours with rain or theres a ten car pile up at the first corner.

ps. Nothing like Jacques Vileneuve DD..nothing like :nono:

You can't say nothing like. The Formula One story of Hamilton has several similarities to that of Villeneuve, if you consider it.

Ok. I'll grant you that. The story has similarities but the driving...no way.

no there's just two he won the title i his 2nd year and now he's having a bad year because of the car.

So you can only say there's only one since the car isn't really lewis is it

I've seen it before i think its a stupid comparison.

I mean if Lewis wins tommrow  does that mean hes suddenly like Paninis and is never gonna win again?

You're right, just the story.

See, Hamilton is a good driver.

Well, if the McLaren fails to improve, you never know. Lewis could become Jacques.

Jacques lost out because he didn't like the rule changes with grooved tyres and TC. Well the ban on re-fuelling next year could affect Lewis. We know what happened when he was fuelled for a one stop in Barcelona. Tyre's were shot, and he stopped again. The ghost of Jacques :hehe:

#1: Comes in to the sport highly-rated having just dominated his previous series.
#2: Nearly wins the title in his first year.
#3: Wins the title in his second year, having been driven in to by a Ferrari driver (albeit not in the final round of the championship).
#4: Enters his defending season in a sub-par car.

What happens from now on will determine whether or not there are any more similarities.

I would actually be interested in seeing if JV could race decently with next year's regulations, to be honest.

Same here. I do question whether or not Jacques would go well in these cars. Personally I'd like to see him at least test one of the cars, just out of curiosity. Since I really do believe he was hard done by the rule changes. I mean, any driver who can come into F1, dominate his first race, and challenge his team mate for the championship is a good driver in my opinion. But he's 38 now. Even older than Barrichello. I can't see him racing in F1 again, but I'm still curious.

Villeneuve hasn't been a good F1 Driver for a long time. Even setting aside ow long it took him to get used to the new rules (Which is a cop out excuse anyway), he was failing to deliver on his claimed promise more than half a decade ago. Aside from which, he's a pretty useless team component - that's how Button and (To some extent) Panis managed to show him the door.
