You know what? I wouldn't be so upset if Ferrari did get a win this weekend. In fact after Red Bull, I want a ferrari to win, because it would be a sweet In-Your-Face to Max Mosely.

Christian Horner has said that Monaco should be 'Brawn territory'. He says tracks with a high speed corner suit Red Bull better...
is he playing games?? because from what i have seen so far its not really like that.

As of KERS, who knows, maybe KERS will be the deciding factor at Monaco... perhaps teams with it will be the only ones able to make a pass.

I don't often like to pretend that i know better than professional race teams but I can't see how it is going to be advantageous at Monaco.

Regardless, the IF is not very important because he won the race anyway; and had good pace. So taking away all IF's he won the race; whoever could have won (Massa) had things not happened the way they did, would require IF's as well. So there you go.....

well we were discussing the pace of Renault compared to Ferrari and i was saying Renault improved but not ahead of Ferrari or McLaren. not who should have won the race.

Red Bull have the diffuser ready The fight is on, can Red Bull take a big another step forward to haul in Brawn GP and their massive points lead.

I don't think it will make that much of a difference... It will make a difference but not one that would cause a jump infront of the Brawn's.

Nope. The Brawn will suit Monaco because it's the best stop and go car. The Red Bull gains speed in the fast turns. Horner isn't playing games here. If you look at the sector times for Barcelona. Sector 3 is the stop and go sector quite similar to Monaco's whole layout. Brawn were the fastest car through that sector.

All the same, the driver can make all the difference around Monaco. So who knows.

Also, there will be no wide tyre variation this weekend. So we're using the super soft and the soft. I was thinking some cars might go 3 stopping, but it doesn't seem as likely. But surely, qualifying will be a battle of who dares put the lightest fuel load on those cars. So maybe we'll still some 3 stoppers.

i dunno The RB5 seems to have better mech grip as demonstrated by their pace in the wet. Mech grip is more important than aero grip around Monaco.

Brawn and RB would be even in Monaco for me...Out of the drivers I would say Webber has the best chance of snatching a victory because it's one of his most favoured circuits...

Yes, but there's more to it than that. Downforce is extremely important when braking and getting traction. Shorter wheelbase cars also gain an advantage.

Also, I wouldn't say fast car in the wet = fast car in Monaco. For example, last year the McLaren and the Red Bull were easily the best cars in the wet conditions. But in Monaco McLaren weren't as fast as Ferrari in the dry. Red Bull weren't spectacular either.
