Yeah, referring to traffic at Monaco.
Rising number one of Formula 1, Juan - Juan, one wonders should Juan only win one Formula 1 one year, would Juan have won that one in round one, Juan??

Well I really don't think it was John Watson who told him that, because he certainly didn't brag about coming from the back at Detroit 1982 and Long Beach the following year.
"I can win from the back, If I do I will be a legend" etc etc. He got egg on his face then, and I thought he would have learned his lesson then,
But no, he came out with that outside pass remark.
I hope he has learned his lesson.

It's one thing being confident and knowing you're a good driver, but why say these sorts of things in the first place?scotty wrote:Yeah, referring to traffic at Monaco.Jezzzz

I expect all fast drivers to be arrogant, but for the sake of their own image they need to learn how to talk to the press. I would say that even the majority of Hamilton haters agree that he's a fast driver and makes F1 exciting, but he's hated for his off track Image.
I think deep down he's not anywhere near as arrogant as what is perceived. And I uphold that he is a driver with loads of talent. He needs to drop this image though - as though almost he is a Hollywood A lister. He is struggling atm because he wants to criticise but feels constrained that he can't

It's good to have your own personal heroes and villans, makes watching the sport more interesting!

Think Hamilton learnt from that though. I can't remember him making any of those sort of comments since...

For me, that one wasn't so bad, it was the ones ridiculing his opponents - 'no one can pass me round the outside', 'i don't want to be stuck with the monkeys at the back' etc etc

Is it drugs,no.
Is it his playboy image,no Jenson button held that crown for years.
Is it his partying image, no.
Is it his confidence image, probably,is their a law against being confident?
Is it his dad wanting to manage him so other so called agents don't take liberty's with his money deal,..can you blame his dad for wanting his son to get the best possible deal.
Show me one off track bad thing that lewis has done away from F1.
When has lewis been in the paper for anything he has done away from f1 in a negative light.
His statements to the press, what statements are you talking about.
Has he swore at the press or has he attacked the press, please explain what he has done wrong to the press.
Oh, you are going to say he is arrogan, is he? Perhaps he knows what the press are like and makes sure he keeps them at arms length.
Michael Schumacher was a arrgoant pig sometimes but know one complains about him.
He was arrogant from the time he enter F1 to the time he left, what do you think about him.
