well as I have already said, no it is not institutionally racist, because the actions for the fans have nothing to do with the institution.
in·sti·tu·tion·al (nst-tsh-nl, -ty-)
adj.
1. Of or relating to an institution or institutions.
2. Organized as or forming an institution: institutional religion.
3. Characteristic or suggestive of an institution, especially in being uniform, dull, or unimaginative: institutional furniture; a pale institutional green.
4. Of or relating to the principles or institutes of a subject such as law.

Wow, you really are intelligent.. :clap:

Bernie is the institution or part of it. One would ask the question about Bernie and Max ,going on Bernie's comments and Max Mosley behaviour.

These two are part of the institution.

Nice try though.. :rofl:

I'm not sure you can simply generalize from your perception that MM and BE are racist. First of all, that would remain to be proven. Second, look at all the teams with all their employees - thousands of people right there. If you can quote a study, a survey, a report that indicates that there's pervasive racism going on in the paddock, then and only then could you claim that racism is part of the institution that is F1.

Now that you've mentioned it, I've only seen several hundred employees from ethnic backgrounds in Formula One over the years. There must be a high level of racism after all. :rolleyes:

Because Honda, Toyota, Bridgestone, Super Aguri, and Force India, would be in F1 because of the country they come from if Bernie and Max where racist. I am sure they would not be after Arabic backers either if they where.

Who said they are racist,i am saying that some would question their behaviour.

What is it with you,do you always make things up or add your own little twist.

Anyway,what you have said here does not make any sense really.People will always take money off other people no matter their own views,business is business. :confused:

OK I would put it in plain english for you.

If Bernie/Max was racist do you think that there would be any team/driver that was not from the weston world? Well done for missing out the question on what Bernie/Max have done that is racist!

I saw the question, when did i say they were racist?

Again, you have a problem with making things up that are not said in any of my post.

Keep trying though...

It wasn't one supporter last year from what i can recall it was a whole stand

You recall wrong. It was nothing like a whole stand.

This thread is preposterous. Some of the most popular figures in F1 are from ethnic minorities. F1 itself has no racism problem.

Now the world at large, that's another matter. But our sort can't be expected to regulate the populace as a whole, now can it?

its a case of wherever you go you find idiots, you can never completly get rid of racism anywhere or in any profession. these people are stupid, if the only issue they can find with a person is due to their ethnic origin, we should not give them the coverage they are looking for and also get them a brain transplant.

This whole racism cry-fest in F1 thing really makes me sick.....man up for gods sake. Crying over something like that just proves how weak you really are. Giving idiots like the black faced boys any consideration at all is more than they deserve. You wouldn't make a big deal out of a few retarded kids throwing popcorn in the crowd would you? This is exactly the same thing as the black faced kids. Idiots acting like idiots...you can get all hurt and drama queen about it, or just ignore it and move on.

F1 is not racist, there are tribal supporters who are willing to say and think terrible things against rivals of their favourite driver (check out the Senna fanboys on youtube!) and this occasionally extends to racial abuse. I have experienced this at the British grand prix with abuse aimed at Michael Schumacher that could be considered at least xenophobic.

This, however is simply a manifestation of sort of tribal attitude to supporting that is actually less prevalent in F1 than in many other sports. F1 is FAR from institutionally racist. None of the teams are racist, none of the drivers are racist, Max Mosley is not racist, Bernie Ecclestone is not racist, Martin Brundle, Jake Humphries and the rest of the BBC team are not racists, Bernd Maylander is not a racist, Charlie Whiting is not a racist. No one in F1 is in any way racist except a small number of fans. Even they aren't proper racists, just some idiots taking things too far.

Yup, I experienced the Anti-Schumacher (and now largely Anti-Alonso) feeling at Silverstone too.
Not racism though.

The question i am asking is this... Is F1 institutionally racist, meaning does it run from the top down to the bottom.

So if my plain English approach did not work how about this then

you have previously said

Institution = Racist
Bernie = Institution

therefore

Bernie = racist

Prove that Bernie is racist and then I will agree that F1 is institutionally racist?
