No one was at fault for the accident. Rosberg jerked battling with Alonso, which in turn forced truili into a spin. You can't really blame anyone there.

You might want to double check your DVR. Alonso forced a car off who then came back on to force a williams(?) car off, who then in an atempt to save as many places as possible (and keep from getting stuck in the gravel) nailed the throttle and reentered the circuit just about sideways.

Everyone who was on the track saw it and slid to thier left to avoid him. The only one who didn't had went wide in turn 1 and was coming back onto the circuit looking for the inside track to turn 3 and T Boned him(williams?) because the cross traffic (moving left to avoid the re-entering car)obscured his view.

I'm not sure what forced (was it) Sutil (?) off in turn 1.

no you're confused it was Jarno Truli who was forced of then nailed the throttle. It was the williams who was battleing Alonso

I didnt see the race as I was working

Didnt record either

So watched Highlights

Crash at the beginning.. well that was Both Toro Rosso's and Sutil's race ruined, Well Jarno too but he sorta started it!

Heikki retirement- Didn't show it on highlights, what happened ? A possible clutch problem as I read about it.

Felt for Kimi, once again another fantastic example of Ferrari's reliability

Hmm Poor weekend for Mclaren, I bet Lewis is frustrated....

Some nice overtaking battles involving Fernando

Congrates to both Brawn's and RBS, also nice to see Nick in the points

Vettel needs to start overtaking!!

I think Vettel's quite capable of it (was it in the last race that he overtook Hamilton even though he knew Lewis had to stop again?), but this track doesn't lend itself to overtaking - the only action I saw on the highlights (the race didn't record!!!:( ) was on the main straight - and Massa, with KERS, had the advantage right in the one place on the track where it might have been possible for SV to get past. I also think that maybe Vettel realised that staying where he was and waiting for a good opportunity is better than making a big risk and not ending up with anything? Which, of course, paid off in the end. I dunno, just speculating. We shall see :D

Anyway - yay Webber :D He deserves that third after that awesome move on Alonso - what an awesome bit of driving that was!
Massa is having some awful luck - I'm not a Ferrari fan (anything but, in fact :P), but I did feel for him today.
And another good job by Brawn, though I would have liked Barichello to have won. Must have been a very frustrating day for him (not that second is bad at all!).

Ferrari are just messy. Lack of pace is one thing but unreliability, over confidence in quali and silly pit mistakes have made the first possible good day for them just another of the years embarassments. Poor Massa

Another Brawn white wash makes for another over by lap 40 race. I dont mind if Button wins the WDC, just not by June. I imagine Webber was the standout today but he didn't get any coverage until he appeared in p3

To Monaco and the 2009 we dont have any overtaking places but we pay no tax GP

The press would disagree with you.

:yes::thumbup:

Hamilton is driving the socks of his car.

Australia: Hamilton 4th (DSQ) and Kovaleinen Last (RET)
Malaysia: Hamilton 7th and Kovaleinen Last (RET) :hehe:
China: Hamilton 6 and Kovaleinen 5th
Bahrain: Hamilton 4th and Kovaleinen 12th. (This is the best race to compare them)
And now todays results with Hamilton finishing just outside the points on a race where the top 10 would be an effort for the car is astounding.

But still doesn't beat Vettel who last year, despite being the umber 2 driver for Torro Rosso, outclassed his team mate in EVERY race that he finished. I only found that out just then.

It looked like that would be the same case this year... Until now. But the stat I just stated is the best evidence to prove what a stunner this kid is. :)

I thought it was a very entertaining race. I love the Spanish Grand Prix. :) Everytime I've had the privilege of watching it, I've thoroughly enjoyed. I also watched my only Moto GP race last year on it. It was also my favourite track on my old PSP Formula one game. I'd consistently lap at 1:18 to 1:20. :)

This time I'm gutted for Massa. But he was holding up Vettel. Vettel's a saint so boo to Massa for that.

I was very surprised to see Brawn get a 1-2. I was certain that this would be the end of their dream run. :irked:

So, the title is now certain in my viewpoint. Brawn are very much ahead of the rest of the pack. I thought Ferrari or Renault or BMW would catch up. But even with their new upgrades, they couldn't get them.

And they were miles in front. (Well, seconds :hehe: ).

This is it. It won't change. But Vettel will win a few more. Barichello will win at least one race, Massa might, Webber might and Hamilton might.

But Game. Set. Match.

Watching the SPEED REPORT Rubens was being interviewed and was asked if he thought Ross was favoring Jenson? Rubens replied that the day Ross tells him we are gonna favor JB for this race or the championship that is the day he hangs up his boots. Rubens also stated that it was Ross would gave the final decision on running two different strategies.

One of the most boring GPs I have seen in a while (apart from the big crash)

Ferrari has reverted back to type with the departure of Braun. What other team could so effectively translate improvement into failure? Hopefully, we shall not be going back there next year after the repeat racial hatred behaviour of some of the fans.
