I'd love to see Super Aguri back in the sport - I was both devastated and furious (at Fry) when they left in 2008.

I find it highly suspect that so many people think Nick Fry actually had the power to pull the plug on Super Aguri. The real culprit is clearly HONDA Motor Company.

Lol don't be so naive he had alot to do with it.

The Chief Executive of a barely related Company? Yes, I'm sure it was his fault and not the Board of the directly related Company who actually did pull the plug

So how come he was so vocal about it?

Probably something to do with the fact he kept getting asked about it.

I don’t understand how suddenly Nick Fry needs to be commenting on everything. Honda were our backers and he’s not the CEO of Honda. I have no interest in Nick Fry whatsoever and have no idea what he was talking about. Aguri Suzuki, speaking after he announced the end of Super Aguri.

Nope

And then to rub salt into the wound, Fry said F1 doesn't need privateers. This is why many people rate him as one of F1's biggest villains of 2008.

Mm hmm. I still don't know why they ever went through with the deal that pushed Richards out in favour of Fry. It was ridiculous!

Surely you understand how quotes in articles come about? These people don't suddenly decide to flag down the nearest journalist and start handing out these quotes. If you see someone saying something in the press, 95% of the time it's because they've been asked. In fact, the biggest problem with media quotes is they rarely portray it that way and almost never tell you the question they asked, even when they do say they prompted the quote. That makes it very hard to gauge true meaning.

I'm not saying Nick isn't a big-mouthed git most of the time (Hence why he mostly stays behind the scenes at Brawn GP). That he talked a lot of drudge when Super Aguri was going under was never what I was arguing with. I said he had nothing to do with Super Aguri having the plug pulled.

And your own quote from Mr. Suzuki backs me up.

Can we address (Once again) that the name is preposterous?

Well I think he's screwed trying use the surname method ala Mclaren, Williams, and Brawn. Then again what a coup , Suzuki sponsorship, seems like a natural.

I'd rather have any other team to be honest.
Simply because I know that if Super Aguri return we're in for The Sato and Ide show... without the Ide (insert some other rubbish Japanese driver)
