That was my feeling during the race. For the 1st time ever, I wanted a ferrari to win. but I do disagree with you on who's at fault. Aparently, it was LH who caused this whole thing. So I think LH should have been penalized too. If we consider the stewards ruling that team strategies don't allow for blocking you teamate -assuming that's the case- during qualifications, then not obeying team orders should also be considered illegal (that's why I believe this whole thing is ridiculous).

Yeah lewis was at fault too but if you read the whole thing he mede a split second decision not to let alonso past at the designated place because kimi was too close and would also have got by. after that alonso dropped right back ( i saw this bit in quali, he was really struggling to keep kimi behund him). He was so far back that lewis then had to press on. This is an understandable decision in the circumstances. Alonso deliberately fouled up lewis' last run-thats schumacher style :( !Not fair play!! Kimi and massa deespite driving for ferrari seem to play fair. I so hate cheats!!!!!!!!

Excuse me all!
Hamilton was told by the team, in qualifying, to let Alonso pass, but he did nothing about it, that's why later on they went to the pits together, so McLaren then focused on Alonso and they told him to wait because there were some traffic out there and Hamilton was behind (his fault!).
They would never have arrived to the pits together if Hamilton had taken in consideration what McLaren told him to do.

is that clear?

cheers

They both at fault mate. LW started it and Alonso finished, unfortunetly, Alonso paid the price while LH just smirked.

Dennis and Alonso revealed to the press in Budapest that the incident had been triggered by Hamilton repeatedly ignoring a radio order to let his Spanish teammate past in the 'Q3' phase of qualifying.

"I am in a lot of trouble with my boss," Hamilton told the British broadcaster ITV before he won the race, albeit reiterating that Alonso does not have "a great excuse" for holding him up in the pits.

Championship leader Hamilton revealed after the incident that Alonso had not spoken to him, while Alonso told Spanish reporters that "nobody" in the team is communicating at present with Lewis.

Hamilton confirmed that he is living in a difficult moment within the Woking based team.

"I went to my normal engineers' meeting, and you can imagine the feeling; you feel like you have done something to them," the Briton said.

I have checked "MARCA", biggest sport paper in Spain, in an interview with Alonso, he told them he doesn't know if he would finish the contract with McLaren this year and that Renault wants him back.....interesting.
What I think is that McLaren is doing bad management focusing on both drivers when they should focus on just Alonso as Hamilton is his team mate only. Ask Ferrari what they did with Michael, that's what McLaren should do with Alonso, he is the world champion and he is the first driver for McLaren, they should focus completly on him, that's it, the policy of McLaren is wrong and a clear example is what happened in this last race, now McLaren lost championship points because of very bad management, Dennis is an engineer, he is not a bussiness man, Flavio is a bussiness man and knows how to handdle two drivers. Unless McLaren change policy this is not the last thing will happen until the end of the championship, It is going to be a battle when it shouldn't be one at all and let Alonso wins his third one!
cheers

First, Alonso is not going back to Renault. He's lucky if he can get out of his contract, Flavio is too cheap to pay for a 2 time World Champion, and why would you leave a first rate car to go for a 4th rate team?? Alonso and LH needs a time out and work it out for the good of the team and for both. RD has gone on record to say that LH has it tough right now with the team members because he threw the team into chaos this weekend.

Second, while Ferrari has a 1 one driver and won many championships, it was really boring watching them. It is more intriging and interesting (look what happened this weekend) to see both drivers COMPETING not only against other teams but other drivers. While its no secret they don't like each other, they are very well paid PROFESSIONALS and should act professionals, just shut their mouths, stop crying to the press, stop crying to their boss, just race and do the talking on the track.

Why should alonso have number 1 status? If he drove faster it would be his automatically? Ferrari's situation with michael was wrong, many of the wins he had were gifted to him, where's the sport in that? He was afraid of a fast team mate and so it appears is alonso. Alonso did not have number one status at Renault, the fastest driver on the day was number one, as it should be! And do you remember the fuss Alonso made whenever Fisi beat him, saying he was all alone in his championship fight and moaning in public about renaault? Ron is fair with his drivers and yes thats hard with two fast team mates but you cant penalise one in favour or another. The fastest guy is number 1 end of story. Note Ferrari are not using those 'Favour one driver because he cant win on his own' tactics with kimi and Filipe.
ps. Wont be a battle much longer. Once lewis is far enoough ahead that alonso cant mathematically win the championship , Alonso will have to support him

traffic? what traffic, read the stewards decision!!!

there were 4 cars on track when alonso was in the pits, 3, including hamilton came into the pits, that left one, and he was going through the chicane at the top of the circuit when alonso was told to go out by the team. he waited 10 seconds with the team shouting at him to go, and waving at him.. he is a spoilt brat who throws the toys out of the pram when he is not getting his own way!!!

McLaren have ALWAYS run an equal opportunities team, even when Senna was there, the drivers always had equal equipment (just the senna was alot faster than his team-mates), if alonso had looked into it he'd have realised that. as it is, this proves that either he is crap, OR that hamilton is also a truly great driver, I believe the latter, and alonso cant cope with the fact that at renault he was number one and at mclaren he's equal.

First of everything, LH has to learn how to lose cause everytime he lose, he has to complain, he is always crying to try to get better results, he is a kid and a loser!!!

Alonso is gonna show u how to win as a man in the motroways, not at the office!!!

Yes, Alonso has to quit this team, cause he is a winner and he must to be somewhere where people knows the different between a winner and a loser...

Didnt hear lewis crying when he didnt win at nurburg ring. In fact never have heard him cry or moan. Now Alonso HA! What a baby! He expects to be gifted a win and then throws a tantrum when he doesnt- Seen it lots of times, even last year when he had a slower team mate. Oh and I think Mclaren know what a winner is, have you seen their record of winners? Thats why they hired Lewis, because he is a winner. Most consistent driver of the season

Yes, i believe thats the only place where he can go, he deserves to be there and Ferrari needs somepne like him, they need a winner, and who is teh best driver around? Fernando Alonso

Even i was reading some information and they were talking about coming back tob Renault, but i dont think so...
