Sorry, I can't pay attention to what you're saying, you've turned the most distracting shade of green
I think it's pretty obvious I was being facetious.
Also, McLaren was not that far off the pace at the start of the season, it was decidedly middle of the road at the start of the season:
Qualifying 2 (Australia)
R Barrichello: 1:24.783
H Kovalainen: 1:25.726
Difference 0.943 Seconds.
You are thinking of Pre-Season.
The Frome Flyer: Smoother, Smarter, Calmer, Winner.
Jenson Button: Professor, Chauffeur, World Champion Racing Driver.
Sorry i can't hear you over the sound of Jenson crying when Lewis retains the WDC.

But in Australia I will admit Lewis was pretty lucky with how retirements went and also the track is more suited to cars with very good mechanical grip which the McLaren does pretty well in as can be seen in the sector times of certain tracks, but in Bahrain there was only 1 retirement and that did not effect Lewis anyway it was a pretty standard race with Lewis getting that place partly by his skill but also his improved pace of his car. At the start of the season the McLaren was over 2 seconds off the pace now it's not more than half a second off the pace I think that shows substantial improvement.
