Why are 3 of the 4 on your list Mclaren Drivers?

Because McLaren are best?( good to have a bit of blind faith every now and again)

Anyway the last team Senna drove for was Williams

However you can hardly compare them to Button when he has never been a member of Mclaren.

Talented as those 4 drivers are, your missing ALLLLOOOTTTT Mmore.

Schumacher, Raikkonen, Alonso, dare I say Vettel? And those are just guys that I've seen in my lifetime.

I think Vettel has definitely proven he has got a lot of raw skill.

what are you guys arguing about anyway? :banghead:

It's the age old argument " My driver is better than yours" VS "Your driver's only fast because his cars fast." VS Aytron Senna. But only as long as one of the Trivosti don't stick their nose in to start singing about Schumacher's 7 WDC and how he should be sainted .

On the other hand, imagine putting Lewis in a car that didn't respond well to the way he applies throttle or the way he likes to have the back end sliding out.

OH BUT HE'D BE ABLE TO DRIVE AROUND IT BECAUSE HE IS LEWIS HAMILTON:rolleyes:

You got it Ewman!:clap: Took you a while but you got there.

Its what ive always said about Jenson, he's very good when everything suits but he cant drive around problems.

That's not the right way to put it and it's not exactly what Mark meant. Jenson's driving style is very sensitive to poor cars. If the car is doing things poorly, Jenson's style is compromised because he has to start moving the wheel around and feeding the power less smoothly than he wants to. Since smoothness is where his natural speed comes from, he needs a stable and predictable car to show his talent. He does alright in ordinary cars, is as good as or better than anyone in good cars and struggles in poor cars (Until it rains).

what you just described is what racechick was saying, does good in a good car but a bad car not so good because his style is compromised.

Yeh if we put Jenson in the MP4-24 he would be doing worse than Lewis i'd say

I disagree, because the MP4-24 is not a bad car. Jenson only struggles in bad cars, the MP4-24 is mediocre, it is not bad.

They would be fairly evenly matched.
